This luxurious mansion house is located in Puerto Pollensa and surrounded by aprox.72,000 m of wonderful private gardens and grounds, with a mountain backdrop. What could be better than watching the mountain hues change at sunset from the lovely terrace? From the house you can stroll to the bars and restaurants of Puerto Pollensa and the beautiful long sandy beach is only 3 minutes walk away.

The private swimming pool measures approximately 12 x 5 m and has a beautiful water feature. All around the pool there is a spectacular private garden with lawn and trees giving shade and privacy, fountains and granite statues, all illuminated at night. There is also an outdoor barbecue area with a large wooden table where you will certainly enjoy most of your summer meals, overlooking the pool and surrounding mountains.

This is the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday... an oasis of peacefulness in Mallorca. 

GROUND FLOOR: from the entrance hall you will find the living room to your left –this is a very comfortable room with two sofas, a fireplace, satellite astra tv, ( video with english films),matting on the tiled floor, and views to the pool. This leads into the dining room -a fairly traditionally furnished room with modern art on the walls. Then there is a less formal living area adjoining the kitchen; here there is L shaped seating, tv and a space separating the kitchen area which has pine units, marble worktops, a combi hob-electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. A door leads out to a small terrace and beyond that is the utility area with washing machine and a cloakroom with basin and wc, close to the pool and barbecue.

From the kitchen another door leads out to the covered terrace with a long refectory table and benches with a summer kitchen area incorporating barbecue, hob, sink and worktops; this is where most of the mealtimes will be enjoyed, overlooking the pool, garden and mountains.

On the ground level is a double bedroom and a single bedroom which share a bathroom with hip bath, basin in vanity unit, and wc.

FIRST FLOOR: stairs lead up to a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, which share a family bathroom -this has dark blue sanitaryware comprising of bath with shower over, basin in vanity unit and wc.

A further twin bedroom has views across the garden and fitted wardrobes and this has an en-suite bathroom –bath with shower over, twin basins set in a unit, wc and bidet. Another bedroom also looking to the garden has a large double bed, with shower room with shower, WC and basin.

There is heating/air conditioning in each bedroom.

Pollensa town was established a few miles inland to protect against any sudden pirate attacks; its harbour, Puerto Pollensa, was left as an unprotected outpost. Today the port has grown into a popular family resort that retains the time old tradition of the evening paseo or stroll on the port’s celebrated Pine Walk promenade, stretching from the marina along the seafront to the elegant Illa D'Or Hotel at the far north. This resort has everything - wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back friendly atmosphere.

The main feature of the resort is the dramatic Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range that surrounds and shelters the town. There are numerous walks into these hills from where the views back over the bay are stunning.

One of the liveliest and biggest local markets takes place every Sunday in the church square in the Pollensa old town. Stalls extend down the side streets, filled with a variety of goods from fresh fruits and vegetables to local crafts and carvings, leather goods, ceramics and lace. Market day in Puerto Pollensa itself is Wednesdays, when stalls are set up in the Church Square.

Puerto Pollensa is renowned for hosting some of the best fish restaurants on Mallorca, but there is also a wide selection of restaurants catering to all tastes an pockets. Children are more than welcome in most establishments.

The long beach of white sand with warm shallow waters makes it especially popular for families with small children.
 

The villa comprises 6 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 2 twin, 1 single, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 11 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 5 bathrooms and 5 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 11 in the living room and 11 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The bay of Pollensa is ideal for all water sports, including sailing yatchs available for charter.

Matt says: "The pictures dont do this villa justice. It has huge grounds, mountain views, easy walk to beach, shops and restaurants. The eating area outside by the pool was fantastic. Villa accomodation was very spaceous and clean. There were plenty of towels and the contact, Maria, was very helpful and friendly. I dont understand why anyone else has not placed a review on here, as you will not be disappointed ! Pool was nice and large. You really could not ask for anything more and there would be no need for you to hire a car ... you have everything within easy reach. This big villa should belong to a celebrity with its extensive cared for gardens. Dont hesitate, there really is nothing to worry about, it wont disappoint you. The villa and gardens are not shared with anyone and were fully private with secure gates. Will return if we go to Mallorca again. "
