This very old farmhouse is situated in a small alley in the village of Xaghra. The entrance to the farmhouse is sheltered by a large tree. The living area over looks the large split level pool area. Rustically renovated to high standards, this house is layed out on two stories. Both bedrooms are situated on the second floor, both with en-suite. A large sun terrace is located on the second floor with beautiful unobstructed country views.

Ginette says: "I was disappointed with the property. It seems that perhaps the owners need to spend a little time and money on it to bring up the quality. For the money I have done much better in the past. There was no washing machine or dishwasher, which in a family home would have been helpful. The cooker hob was badly rusted and worked poorly. The kitchen was poorly provided for cooking equipment and we had to improvise often. The kettle scalds you when you pour out the boiling water. The showers worked poorly and all were blocked up by 50%. Given that the water pressure on Gozo is poor this made them virtually a drizzle. The drains seemed to be blocked and the showers would spill over if you did not keep turning them off and waiting from time to time. The bathroom windows of the master bedroom and the downstairs bedroom could not be opened due to the smell of the blocked drain and the mosquito breeding ground that was created there. The maid came on day three to change the sheets in a two week holiday. Mid holiday would have made more sense. The downstairs bedroom was damp and had not been aired prior to our arrival. The bed was not made up and linen not changed by the maid. The pool was lovely and deep and the kids enjoyed this very much. When it went wrong the man came very quickly and was very polite. Xlendi tourist services as per usual provided an efficient and reliable service with transfers, trips and car hire."
