This beautiful property, nestling under a cherry tree, is a converted farm bakery with great character. It boasts the original stone and clay oven (attached to the outside of the gite) along with many other attractive features.

La Boulangerie is a country gite offering the benefits of rural peace and quiet with opportunities for walking and cycling along country lanes and walking in the nearby beech woods. It is also ideal for an activity holiday within easy travelling distance of many activities.  

La Boulangerie is a charming ‘petit gite’ in a secluded orchard setting close to Brecey.

The living area on the ground floor is an open-plan kitchen/living room and is equipped with video, DVD and CD player.

The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob, fridge and microwave oven.

The bedroom is a twin bedded room.

The bathroom is an ensuite shower room with WC.

The grounds of approx 2 – 3 acres include orchards of apple, pear, peach and plum trees. There is also a barbecue and play area within the grounds.

Outside the fenced grounds is beautiful countryside and there are lovely walks along country lanes. There is also an outdoor swimming pool as well as tennis courts and fishing lakes nearby.
 

La Boulangerie is close to Brecey one hour from Caen and St Malo and on the intersection of the D911 and D999, between Avranches and Villedieu. The gite is situated on the D999 off the N167. Full directions are supplied with our brochure.

It can be reached by plane to St Malo, Dinard airport, only an hour away, or by ferry to St Malo or Caen/Ouistreham.

the town of Brecey is within easy walking distance (5 minutes by car) and has some restaurants, small shops, a supermarket, bakery, hairdresser and bank. Friday is local market day in Brecey, when local produce, fish, vegetables and the famous Normandy cheeses can be purchased.
 

The grounds of approx 1 acre include orchards of apple, pear, peach and plum trees and secure play area. There are beautiful views of the countryside.

The gite comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 2 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The gite has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The gite has video, dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 2 in the living room and 2 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this gite.

The gite is in a very quiet area. It has a garden, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking.

The gite is right beside walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the gite you will find swimming, tennis, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the gite you will find a beach, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, historic sites, a museum, a zoo.

Go-karting is available in Mortain about 30 mins drive away.

Medieval town of Mont St Michel, botanic gardens in Avranches and the Abbaye Blanche in Mortain.
