Accommodation is in a 3 storey house with 1 double bedroom and one large attic room, sleeping up to 6 people (ideal for a family). The Kitchen / Dining room has electric cooker, fridge, coffee machine, microwave and a wood burning stove.
Oak staircase leads up to first floor with double bedroom and bathroom w. shower, toilet and washing machine. The top floor is a large attic room with 2 singles and a bunk bed, children's toys and a TV / VCR with lots of great tapes. Linen / towels can be provided (subject to a small supplement - see extras below).
A CD player / Radio is also available. There is a large garden area, with furniture for dining outside on hot days and plenty of space for children to run around in.

Village has grocers and a wonderful Granite Museum. 15 minutes drive to Vire for major shops and supermarkets. 5 minutes to St Pois for local shops, restaurants, bars. 

Within easy reach of Le Mont Saint Michel, Avranches and the Granville coast, with plenty of sandy beaches to spend some time sunbathing or castle building. One hour from Caen or St. Malo (ferries and airport, but also great places to visit). From here its only 45 minutes to the coast. There are long sandy beaches both to the south and north of Granville. Driving up the coast from Avranches to St. Malo is a great way to spend a day out; stop off at Cancale for Oysters or visit the rock sculptures at Rotheneuf. 

The house is situated in Saint Michel De Montjoie, close to Villedieu-Les-Poeles and Vire which has a great outdoor swimming complex (Aquavire). Both have plenty of good restaurants. Ten minutes away are the forest of Saint Sever and the Lac de Dathée . Golf, fishing and horse riding are just some of the activities catered for locally. Or you can just enjoy the tranquil setting and the starry nights.
 

Avranches and the coast (and even Le Mont Saint Michel) can be seen from the local viewing platform on clear days. Some toys and bicycles available (but they can also be hired locally).

There is room for 5 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The village house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a south facing garden, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking.

The village house is right beside walking, cycling, a museum, a food shop.

Close to the village house you will find swimming, sailing, boat hire, fishing, mountain biking, golf, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the village house you will find a beach, horse riding, a zoo, a theatre/cinema.

In September, the weather was beautifully warm and sunny and the table and chairs and gazebo in the garden meant we could sit and eat outside late into the evening. The distant view of Mont St Michel from the viewing platform at the end of the garden was a bonus."
