The house is well appointed and well equipped for up to 6 people.
It has 2 bedrooms, one double with en suite shower room. This bedroon has it's own sunny terrace, loungers are provided. The twin room is downstairs and would be suitable for someone with a disability, this room is next to the bathroom. Both rooms have hot and cold airconditioning and ample storage. The lounge/diner is spacious and well furnished. There are 2 sofa beds for extra guests and a log fire for your comfort in the winter. The dining area seats 6 and is roomy.
There is a Sky system installed and a DVD player ( bring your own DVD's)
 

The community of Estrella De Mar (starfish of the sea) is situated between two (one within walking distance) typically Spanish fishing villages on the land side of the Mar Menor.

On site there are 4 restaurants/bars serving a variety in international cuisine. The restaurant by the beach has it’s own pool which is available to all guests and it serves a full menu and Spanish tapas. This is a favourite meeting place for guests.

There are tennis courts, crazy golf and children’s play areas.
The house is approximately 300 yards from the beach.
There is bike hire on site.
It is an area of outstanding beauty and is ideal for family holidays and is quiet and peaceful.

For those seeking something livelier, La Manga strip with it’s bars and clubs is only a short drive away.

In the other direction the town of Los Alcazares offers the same kind of lively entertainment and one of the best all year round markets in the area. The market is open from early till 2pm on a Saturday and is renowned for it’s ‘bargains’
 

La Manga Golf is 10 minutes away by car and the ancient city of Cartagena is 20 minutes away.

The National Museum of Maritime Archaeology has many pieces on display collected from the many shipwrecks along the coast and in the old town the Roman Theatre and paved Roman roads can still be seen, Europe’s largest department store has recently opened here. El Corte Inglais.

There are bus and rail services (Feve) nearby but we would recommend the hiring of a car to ensure you see all there is to enjoy in the area.

 

Very well appointed, well equipped town house with a garden terrace and private upstairs balcony. It has 2 bedrooms but can sleep more on the 2 sofa beds in the living area. There is a private communal pool for your use and it's only 5 minutes walk to the beach. The 4 on-site restaurants serve a variety of Spanish and international food at reasonable prices

The house comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this house.

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a east facing garden, a east facing patio area, a east facing balcony, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The house is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, tennis, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the house you will find water skiing, climbing, flying, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema.

Within easy reach of the house you will find skiing/snowboarding, a themepark.

The accomodation was well equipt, clean and spacious and we spent lots of time out on the terrace enjoying the weather. The house is close to all local amenities with a quiet pool and new bar/restuarant less than 1 minute away. The airport pick up and local knowledge offered by the property manager was incredibly useful and we really enjoyed the local activities which were recommended to us. I wish we could have stayed longer!"
