It is also possible to rent only the ground floor of the property for sleeping 2 - 4 persons (2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin and 1bathroom ) the upstairs twin room and shower room will be closed off. The cost will be reduced by £30 on the tariff prices. Please ask owner about this.

The property is in a stunning location close to 2 seas with an exceptional climate (average of 320 days of sunshine each year) encouraging top sports people from all over the world. A breathtaking 'get away from it all' location Playa Paraiso is a paradise for golfing, swimming and all water sports on the beautiful calm waters of the Mar Menor. Within 5/10 mins drive are the unspoilt Mediterranean beaches, the Calblanque National Park (a protected nature reserve) and the world famous La Manga golf, tennis and football complex. The historic cities of Cartegena and Murcia and the picturesque fishing port of Cabo de Palos, with its excellent fish restaurants overlooking the harbour are all within driving distance. Just 5 mins drive (15 mins beach walk) to the bottom of the very long 'La Manga strip' with all its shops bars and restaurants. 

There are several sailing and scuba diving schools in the nearby village of Cabo de Palos. There are also daily markets in the surrounding villages which sell a vast selection of clothes, shoes, fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, household goods and much more.
Playa Paraiso/Playa Honda has a small selection of shops and restaurants just a short stroll along the beach offering all types of cuisine. A short car ride away opens up the choice of national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices.
Playa Honda has its own beach bar and as from June 2006 Playa Paraiso has its very own beach bar/refreshment area.
Closeby is La Manga Club, which is open all the year round. Famous for its golf, but also offering a good selection of shops, restaurants, evening entertainment, casino,outdoor activities and spa facilities.
You can also find tennis courts and crazy golf just 5 mins walk away, with roller skating and a Go-kart track a short car ride away.

N.B During Mid and low seasons the ground floor of the property (closing off the upstairs room) can be rented to sleep 4 - 1 double and 1 twin room. There will be a reduction of 30 pounds on the tariff prices if you wish only the ground floor

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the living room. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The house has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Easy flat access to large front patio with one step up into main living area and through to back patio. 2 downstairs bedrooms and bathroom (although a wheelchair would be a tight fit into the bathroom itself). The streets to the beach, local shops and restaurants are flat, wide and suitable for a wheelchair (wheelchair access onto the beach maybe a little more tricky) 

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, interesting views, a barbeque, a tennis court.

The house is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the house you will find horse riding, golf, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas.

Within easy reach of the house you will find a zoo, a themepark.

Go Karting - 5 mins Crazy golf - on site

Calblanque National Park La Manga Strip La Manga Club - all within 5 mins

90 min from Alicante.

Berith says: "Apartment was okay, though the beds were no good. We all had bag pains every morning, and 1 of the single beds made so much noice when turning, that it woke up the rest! Salt Lake and area was nice, but just around the apartment it was not as nice - there was a lot of building going on. The bedroom upstairs smelled a bit and needed fresh air, so we did not use it. We arrived late at night, so we ecpected the agents to show up the next day, but they never did. "

Berith - Sorry you found the beds uncormfortable - we have had many guests in the past and no one has complained about this before. In fact we have had nothing but glowing compliments about our house, the Agent, the service we offer and the wonderful Mar Menor area.
The small amount of building work currently going on is for our long awaited and suddenly started new Sports Area. Hopefully in a few short months we will have new Tennis and short tennis courts, football pitch and more!
