Our apartment is in a small complex in the prestigious area of Guadalmina, Marbella; and is about 30 - 40 minutes drive from Malaga airport and five minutes drive from Puerto Banus. Easyjet fly from Luton; and we have done the complete journey door to door in 4 hours.
Flights with Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch and Thomson are extremely affordable which makes this an ideal opportunity for a week away; perhaps a romantic break without the kids, a girly 'shopping spree' or maybe a golfing ‘jolly’ with the boys. Take your pick as there are over sixty golf courses to choose from!

 

Inside our luxury two bedroom first floor apartment, you will find the master bedroom which has a double bed and en-suite. The second bedroom has two single beds and there is also a large family bathroom. There are also two fold away beds available for your use - particularly suitable for children, so the apartment will cater for six if requested.The kitchen is fully fitted with granite worktops and includes an oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge freezer and a dishwasher (so there is no need to take your marigolds!). The spacious living room with generous dining area opens onto the sun terrace. Our place in the sun has marble flooring with hot and cold air conditioning throughout. Terrestrial and satellite television can be found in the master bedroom and living room. For the security conscious, we also have an alarm system with video entry and a built in safe. We are baja (beachside) rather than alta (mountainside) - which means you don’t need to cross the main road to get to the beach! The complex also boasts a private pool with a separate baby pool close enough for your enjoyment (1 minute on foot!) but far away enough not to distract you from your sangria…available from the supermarket across the road.

 

Our apartment is perfectly situated on the Golden Mile and the fabulous Puerto Banus is 5 minutes away. This is a great place to be pampered whilst ogling the celebrities on their luxury yachts as you sip a drink at one of the open air restaurants or bars. It is also famous for its exclusive shopping with several of the world’s renowned fashions houses; as well as small, interesting shops and boutiques fronting on to the Mediterranean. The beautiful city of Rhonda makes a great day out as does the Rock of Gibraltar, both being just one hours drive away.

It is a new complex with landscaped gardens and swimming pool. Baja, beachside - so no roads to cross to get to the beach. Mature cypress trees, as seen from the balcony, line the entrance. A brief walk will get you to the local shopping centre for all your essentials. The large sun terrace is perfect for relaxing with a long cool drink, and for the golfers amongst you there are numerous golf courses to choose from along the coast.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the store room, AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST (2x FOLD-OUT CAMP BEDS). This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television and home cinema with dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a patio area, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming, golf, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, a zoo, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find horse riding, historic sites.

Drive up to the Sierra Nevada and you could be skiing within two hours. Ski am, sunbathe pm!

Nadia says: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Albert and Ayesha for their kindness and hospitality! My family and I had an absolutely amazing time and my mother had a great 40th out there. We definitely hope to return next year. The main attraction to us as a family was the luxurious apartment... it is an absolute beauty, the decor is superb, we were supplied with each and every utensil you could possibly desire in the kitchen. It was basically a home away from home. The description of the apartment and holiday was correct; however we certainly did not expect the superb hospitality we received. Derek was great and very hospitable towards us. My 10 year old brother developed an abscess whilst we were on holiday, therefore we were in need of a dentist to urgently help us, Derek was very kind and referred us to a brilliant dentist in Estepona (just minutes away from the apartment). It was a real family holiday, as we are a family of 6 we did not expect the apartment to be big enough, however there are two luxurious bathrooms and a 32” plasma TV in the master bedroom as well as the lounge (the one in the lounge is bigger!) Albert and Ayesha’s beach was the second main attraction for us! We either spent time in the apartment and swimming pool or at the private beach (near Guadalmina Golf Hotel), which was BEAUTIFUL! The blue Mediterranean sea and the golden sand was breathtaking. And the best part for us was that there were hardly any people there… we visited the beach five days out of seven and in total we noticed maybe 5 or 6 people altogether. This to me is the definition of true bliss! We explored the nearby towns and villages too. Puerto Banus was amazing with its expensive and classy shops on the beautiful port, where I bought my swanky Prada Handbag. Marbella is also a lovely place to go shopping as they have a huge department store called “El Corte Ingles”. We enjoyed the Delicious Indian cuisine from Taj Restaurant, which is towards Estepona. Just before I forget the swimming pool in the apartment was amazing too! We basically had it to ourselves as no one else used it to our enjoyment! I practiced my cannonballs and had a blast topping up my tan and thoroughly enjoyed being under the beautiful blue sky! Overall, our Spanish experience was fantastic and we definitely recommend to others! It’s a great family holiday or even for that romantic getaway its perfect! The lovely weather was awesome and nice and hot for us, makes a change from British boring weather. The only negative thing I have to say about the whole experience is that the immigration police in Gibraltar were very ill mannered and threw a brick at my car as we were leaving Gibraltar! After throwing the brick he came running and said “I want your passports ok!”. The other shocking thing I found was the food prices. Everything is much more expensive out there; however do not let that put you off! It was definitely worth it… I will go back again and again if I can! Thank you Albert and Ayesha! "
