Newly built holiday apartment at La Cumbre, the most exclusive area of Puerto de Mazarron, in a high quality gated complex with a large communal open air pool which is maintained for use throughout the year.

We have priced the apartment competetively, whilst maintaining a good standard of fitments and presentation.

One double bedroom, satellite television, outdoor table and chairs for use on the front terrace, use of the large communal pool and sunbathing terraces and of the rooftop solarium.

Well-equipped kitchen with granite worktops, full oven, microwave, full size fridge-freezer, washing machine, ceramic hob and extractor.

The fully-tiled bathroom has a full size bath with overhead shower and glass spash panel.

The lounge and bedroom have individual heaters for the cooler months. For summer use, the bedroom has a ceiling fan, the lounge has a free-standing fan and a portable air conditioner can be booked for a supplement.
 

Puerto has a range of restaurants, tapas bars, evening entertainment bars, cultural activities including an open air summer cinema, indoor and outdoor sports facilities including ten pin bowling, sports hall, kart track, gymnasiums etc.) plus nearby national parks, museums and natural thermal springs.

The local council regularly provides free beach concerts and has set up theme beaches to provide a variety of free sports and relaxation facilities for all ages - even designated nudist beaches.

In summer, Puerto de Mazarron has a good choice of night clubs, including two open-air out of town summer clubs which stay open until sunrise.

Puerto de Mazarron is one of the most important tourist centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. The frequency of prevailing winds throughout the year in the Bay of Mazarron means sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken at any time of the year. The clear waters and rich flora and fauna offer the enthusiast some highly interesting dives.

The apartment is on the outside of the complex, (not poolside) so it enjoys inland mountain views. We chose the location to be close to the pool, but far enough away to not be disturbed by poolside noise.

The bay of Mazarron has a fantastic selection of sandy beaches and coves to choose from, offering either peace and tranquility with a scenic backdrop or all the family facilities you could wish for.

Camposol golf course is about 10 minutes by car, with La Manga only 40 minutes away.

There are a variety of walks in the region to suit all abilities or just relax in the local hot springs (10 mins by car).

Cartagena, a historic city with beautiful architecture, a pedestrianised upmarket shopping area, a variety of museums and a large port with a seafront paseo, is 30 minutes away by car.

The ancient city of Murcia is the capital of the region. It is easy to get to by train or road and has a historical centre with a cathedral, casino, churches and lots of interesting architecture, cafes, taps bars and some quality restaurants.

Whilst in the area, a visit to the beautiful Sierra Espuna National Park, to the north of Mazarron, through Totana or Alhama is a must. The drive and views are spectacular. On the journey and in the park there are local Spanish bars and restaurants serving good quality, reasonably priced food, or you can take your own food to cook on the outdoor barbecues in the designated picnic areas. The park has a visitor centre and interesting signposted walks with amazing views

There is room for 4 in the living room and 3 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared selec t aspect swimming pool, a selec t aspect patio area, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find historic sites, a themepark.

Bernard says: "We had previouly stayed in the owners Camposol villa, so when they sent us a mailshot for their new apartments in Puerto, we were keen to return to a tried and tested service. As returning customers, Hazel and Richard certainly went out of their way to welcome us back and gave us a free upgrade to their 2 bedroom apartment, which made us feel appreciated. It seems that the owners enjoy buying properties with a view, which once again meant we needed a car as these apartmnents are at the top of a hill in Puerto, with the benefit of a much appreciated cooling breeze (Las Brisas is a very apt name). Once again, the property was superbly equipped, exceeding, in our opinion, the Camposol property. We didn´t get round to using the pool, so I cannot report on that. Puerto de Mazarron is a wonderful find, a true bit of Spain, whereas we found Camposol to be a predominantly British urbanisation. "
