'Villa Izzy' is situated in the picturesque foothills of the Dalaman mountains, one of the few un-spoilt regions along the Turquoise Mediterranean coast.

Within easy access from Dalaman Airport (15-20 minutes drive),' Villa Izzy' offers the perfect setting for the ideal holiday for family and friends. This spacious 5 bedroom villa, offers peaceful surroundings and beautiful scenery, away from the madding crowds. It is also fully equipped to cater for families with young children.

The Villa comprises a double bedroom with en-suite and 2 twin bedrooms with a separate bathroom on the ground floor and one large master bedrooom and one twin bedroom with shared bathroom on the first floor. The upstairs master bedroom has its own private balcony.

The villa is also only a short drive away from some of the most beautiful beaches, towns, villages, tourist attractions, spectacular ancient monuments and historical sites that Turkey has to offer.
 

DALYAN: Only 20 minutes drive to the west from the villa, you will find Dalyan, a small but exquisite fishing town, which lies next to a meandering river, teaming with wild life. After spending your time browsing the typically diverse Turkish market stalls, why not relax and take a look at the Lycian tombs, carved into the rock face, from the comfort of one of the many romantically set restaurants lining the Dalyan riverside. It only takes you a few minutes from the centre of town to stroll through to the Old Dalyan of gardens and willow trees, to flavour days gone by.

DALAMAN: Located 5 minutes from the Airport, Dalamans’ emerging prosperity embraces tourism with a flourish. The Dalaman region offers the tranquillity and friendliness you would expect from cultural Turkey, together with the excitement that goes with an area that has just been promised 10 billion USA dollars investment, making this part of Turkey one of the most vibrant but none the less beautiful places to visit. It is easy to be lured into spending a lazy summer afternoon on one of the many excursion boats that can take you to neighbouring towns or one or two of the private beaches.

IZTUZU BEACH: Visit one of the most beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean coastline. This sand bar that separates the sea from the mouth of the Dalyan Creek is an excellent swimming beach. Situated 30 minutes from Dalaman, Iztuzu Beach has also been preserved, as it is one of the last nesting grounds for the endangered Loggerhead Turtles.

GOCEK: Often referred to as the ‘St.Tropez’ of Turkey, with its exclusive yachting marina and unspoilt beaches, Gocek has emerged as one of the countries most affluent areas to live in Turkey. Gocek came to prominence in the 1980’s as the favoured holiday retreat of Turgut Ozal, Turkey’s go-getting prime minister and later president.

You can explore one of the 12 Islands off Gocek Bay, by hiring a boat or yacht, which also provides excellent scuba diving opportunities.

After a hard day's leisure, enjoy one of the many beautiful waterfront Turkish restaurants, where you can witness some of the most spectacular sunsets over the mountains and bays.

The new tunnel, which was finished in the summer of 2006, reduces the journey by car to 20 minutes from Dalaman.

EPHESUS: ( EFES ) Why not explore the well preserved marble ruins of the ancient capital of Roman Asia, with its 25,000-seat Great Theatre. One of Turkeys most visited tourist sites, Ephesus was once the home to the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven Wonders of the World. Situated on the West Coast, Ephesus is a good 3-4 hour drive from the villa.

KAUNOS: Visit the ancient ruins of Kaunos, situated approximately 10km from Dalyan, and 40 minutes from the villa. Amongst the ruins of the city, you will find an old theatre, a large rectangular building that was probably a temple, others of uncertain description, a Byzantine church, and very curious rock-hewn tombs.

SULTANIYE HOT SPRINGS & MUD BATHS: Situated just before Dalyan Creek joins the lake, you can give yourself a body pack of mud and then wash it all off again in a sulphur pool with temperatures as hot as in the Sultaniye Baths ( approximately 40 minutes from the villa )

KAS: Only 2 hours drive from the villa, you will find the beautiful town of Kas. Apart from the bustle of the town's busy harbour with its numerous restaurants, bars and shops, you will find a well-preserved Ancient Theatre, the only remnants of ancient Antiphellos, the old Lycian town.

 

 

Villa Izzy is a modern, luxury villa that caters for families. All facilities are brand new and easy to use. The villa has it's own large terrace area and 8 luxury wooden sunbeds with expensive cushions. A welcome pack will be prepared for all customers upon arrival which will include; milk, eggs, bread and orange juice etc

The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 3 twin and 2 cots, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 double sofa beds located in the 1 in Master bedroom & 1 in front room. This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, climbing, walking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, boat hire, flying, mountain biking, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find golf, a food shop.

The local mud baths are less than 20 minute drive from the villa.

The local historic rock tombs are only 20 minutes drive away.

Cathy says: "Everything about this property exceeded our expectations from the car hire company meeting us at the airport and taking us to the villa ( what service !) to the location and decor of the villa . Maybe the isolation of the villa is not to everyones taste - you definately need a car and do need to drive everywhere- however for us it was perfect . The site maintenance support was excellent and so friendly and the villa owner ensured that clear details of local amenities/contacts etc were sent to us before our holiday in addition to a detailed information file left in the villa. We found the villa clean and well resourced which included basic food supplies ( water, tea, bread butter jam etc) and wanted for nothing. There is no maid service however and my only slight critisism was the lack of cleaning materials. However overall I couldnt fault the whole holiday experience from the hospitable & friendly locals, fantastic food, wonderful beaches and sights and of course the villa. Thank you so much to the owners and we are booking next year as long as we can still get in !!"
