CASA ALEGRIA is a beautiful 4 bedroom / 4 bath villa which comfortably sleeps up to 10 people, situated outside the small village of Moncarapacho, close to Estoi/Quelfes/Olhao, 26kms from Faro airport. It has a plot size of approx half an acre with superb gardens, own heated pool and large pool terrace. There is a boules and volley ball area in the large garden, table tennis and darts in the basements. Fully gated with lots of off road parking.

The villa is of the highest specification - with marble floors throughout, stylish modern Portuguese furniture, with air con in all bedrooms and own glorious south facing sun terrace with its own private 10m x 5m heated swimming pool. The entire villa has been very tastefully furnished. and is equipped to the very highest standard. The villa is importantly not isolated but set amidst a new countryside development of identical high quality villas. You will not be disappointed.

The very spacious lounge / dining area comfortably accommodates 8-10 and there are doors off to the pool terrace. The kitchen is superbly equipped with marble surfaces and all mod cons. There is a washing machine in the utility room.

The bathrooms are beautifully tiled. (2 are ensuite) 3 have bath/showers/toilet/bidet and vanity unit. The 4th is a shower rooms with vanity unit and toilet.

There is a sturdy portable cot and two portable/folding beds, which can be placed anywhere, allowing maximum occupancy of 10 using any combination of extra beds/cot. Highchair also provided.

On the pool terrace there is a large BBQ, sun loungers, a large table with seating for up to 8-10 people. There is excellent shade under the poolside terrace pergola and further decking with shade in the lower garden.

The garden has a full sized volley ball area, boules area and there is table tennis and adult darts in the basement.

Rental prices are per week in UK pounds. Includes FREE heated pool from mid March to end of October. (The pool is not heated November through to March although it can of course still be used). Price also includes all linen/towels, villa cleaning, we even provide beach/pool towels so no need to bring your own.. Local managers will meet you soon after arrival and remain on call during your holiday should you require them.

There is an obligatory charge of £85/week for aircon (warm and cool), ensuring highest levels of comfort throughout the year, whatever the weather..

This is an ideal location to enjoy the unspoilt Eastern Algarve, outstanding island beaches and first class golf. Fusetta beach is only 7kms away - if you can leave the fantastic pool and gardens! There are five golf courses all within 15-25, including the championship Quinta de Cima golf course, named in the 2004/05 Peugeot Golf Guide as the Best Golf Course in Portugal. You are only 20/25 mins drive from the brand new Monte Rei golf course. There are a further 5 golf courses approx 40 mins away in Spain.

Within Moncarapacho itself there is a excellent supermarket, 2 mini markets, cash machines, petrol station, pharmacy, post office, bars, some truly excellent restaurants, cyber cafes and other local shops. Moncarapacho also has an excellent museum. Within a few kms is the wonderful town of Olhao with its fishing port, wonderful fish markets, restaurants and upmarket shopping.

The villa is within easy distance of Tavira (regarded as the loveliest town in the Algarve), Estoi (with its Rococo palace and Roman ruins), Olhao (fishing port, markets and fine shopping), Vila Real (16th century town on the Spanish border) and much much more. Moncarapacho itself has a museum and an excellent range of small local shops, restaurants, pharmacy, post office, multi bank, bars etc.

From Tavira, Olhao and Cabanas you can travel by small boat to many truly superb offshore beaches. Seville can be reached within 2 hours, Cordoba is 2 hrs further on, , Lisbon is approximately 2.5 hours away. The roads and motorways are excellent. Alternatively within 30 mins driving west you can access major central Algarve towns and attractions .... or you could just relax around the pool and enjoy doing absolutely nothing - as so many of our guests do !!

For those with quieter tastes the nearby Ria Formosa National Park offers excellent walks, extensive beaches and birdwatching.

There are some really lovely places to visit - you will not be disappointed. This is a truly unspoilt part of the Algarve. Eating out on wonderful local fish meat and wine is still surprisingly inexpensive. Why not try it for a change. THE REAL PORTUGAL !!

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the villa and can be place in anywhere. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. Recreational activities available with the villa include table tennis.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, golf, historic sites, a museum, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
