The Villa occupies a beautiful secluded position in the hills, and with its large, luxuriant gardens this property is completely enchanting profiting from a lovely climate.

A terrace which surrounds the attractive swimming pool enjoys panoramic views over the hills and to the not so distant sea.

The mature fenced garden with its pine, cork and citrus trees combined with the colourful flowers of bougainvillaea and the pretty azulejo fountains to make this property unique.

Not far from Monchique Village (less than 3 km), the property stands quiet in its location sharing astonishing views over the hills or to the sea either by day or night when you can enjoy the lights from several cities since all the Western Coast of the Algarve is at your eyes reach and at easy driving distance. 

Car essential although the property is about 2 km from main facilities where clients can easily find shops and some of the most representative restaurants in that area mainly at the village of Monchique and near the spa sharing the same name.
 

About 25 minutes by car we can find some of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve with its fine sand and warm waters near Portimão, Alvor, Albufeira or Lagos for instance.
Not far from Monchique a visit to Silves, Lagos or Sagres is the best way to complete a journey destined to experience the other Algarve and some of the most beautiful historic places.
In fact the property stands in a privileged position allowing to visit at easy distances some of the most diversed landscapes in the Algarve. 

Altough available only for 2 people, the Villa is is fact one the largest country houses in the area and provides the visitors enough space to enjoy quiet holidays. The pool enjoys the lovely view but altough under permanent maintance its not in use between November and March (towels to use in the pool are not supplied).

The villa comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 2 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 1 bathrooms for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

There is room for 2 in the living room and 2 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find climbing, horse riding, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, flying, golf, scuba diving, a theatre/cinema.

A visit to the Castle of Silves and to Sagres is always a good tour.

janine says: "We took our two boys aged 6 and 4 to this villa and really enjoyed our stay there, both in terms of the surrounding area and the villa itself. The interior of the villa was cool and spacious and traditional shutters on the windows meant we all slept really well. Everything was clean and well looked after. In some respects the villa exceeded our expectations. The pool was very large and the grounds of the villa beautiful- almost like the set of a film or novel with its own small wooded area and lemon trees. The weak point of the villa was the kitchen which would benefit from updating. Cooking wasn't particularly a pleasure. However, we found the restaurants in Monchique excellent. The villa was also difficult to find arriving for the first time in the dark. In daylight it would have been fine. The owner was also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I really liked this villa, as did the children. If staying for a fortnight rather than a week, the kitchen may have got me down, but it was excellent in all other respects."
