The villa has belonged to my family since the end of the 19th century and has been completely restored in 1996, we have always hosted our best friends and clients in this property letting them able to reach Florence, but almost all the beauties of Tuscany, within a hour.
We started renting it in 1997 and our guests come from all over the globe and some of them come back again every year.

History
"La Nievolina" is a lovely villa with swimming pool set among the tuscan hills close to Florence, Lucca, Pisa and to all best spots in Tuscany. The villa is rented weekly (saturday/saturday) all year long and is equipped with all the best comforts and furnished in a old tuscan style.

Description of the property
It can accomodate up to 8 guests (9 with extrabed) and has a patio, porch and gardens for playing, suntanning, resting and relaxing.
We've sunbeds and chairs all along the park wich is mowled to let you walk or jog around.  

Technology
- The satellite tv will let you be updated of world facts (Sky News, Cnn, Fox news plus tens of other languages channels) and your children will be happy to watch the cartoon network and other educational channels.
- A computer with a free Internet access (just pay the call to the local provider) is available and let you be able to check your email or find more useful informations about your trip here in Tuscany.
In case you'll bring along your own notebook you can use our own connection to surf the web and to send or download all your mail in your favorite email client.
You'll not have to search for an internet cafe anymore!!!
- The VCR and tens of videos will let you have the choice to watch movies, cartoons, documentaries...
- If music is an important part of your life you'll love the stereo set with cd and cassettes player. We also provide a set of professional headphones for a easy listening.
- We also have a fax machine wich you can use to receive or send important documents and a digital answering machine wich you can turn on and off anytime you want

The Swimming Pool
The pool is above the ground but is set among olive trees and gives you the opportunity to have a wonderful view of the valley.
It's lenght (7 meters) and width (3.5 meters) are enough to host parties of 8 and is usually warmed by the sun on hot days allowing you to have a magic sensation when you get in.
The sun terrace next to pool will let you enjoy your stay, suntanning and relaxing.
The pool and the sun terrace are next to the villa so all you have to do is... relax.

Children
Villa "La Nievolina" is children friendly!
Yes! We take care of your children and we want that their holiday is an experience to remember.
- The garden around the villa is completely fenced so they can play freely.
- To our little guests we provide table games as well as outdoor games
- Baby cot available free of charge
- in the park, near the swimming pool and the badminton area, there are seats and tables for them.
- the "Cartoon Network" and our cartoon videos will surely make them happy!

Sports and fun at "La Nievolina"
At the villa you'll be able to spend your holidays rest and relaxing on the amach, suntanning by the pool, reading one of the book of our english library or you can practice your favourite sport.

- Golf : the course is located in a hilly area close to the ancient house of Leonardo da Vinci. Small greens with difficult lines present the major difficulties.

- Tennis: we've 2 tennis courts 5 minutes away and tennis clubs in Montecatini Terme.

- Ping Pong: we have a professional ping pong table . We provide raquets and balls.

- Badminton: we also have a non-professional badminton court set among the olive trees. It's the ideal spot for children and adults. We provide raquets and balls.

- Bikes rentals: it's now possible to rent bikes (city bikes and mountain bikes) for your holidays at the villa. Minimum rental is a week per bike.

- Bocce (bowls): you can play this famous italian and french game at the villa.

Private Tuscan Cooking Lessons
We have had so many requests to hold private tuscan cooking lessons at the villa that we've decided to team with a Florentine enoteca and her cook Francesca.
Due to high demand please ask for a lesson at least 4 weeks in advance your rental.

Wine Lovers
We now offer to our guests guided wine tasting in the best Florentine enotecas and guided visits to the best Tuscan wine makers.

CUSTOMER CARE and CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
When we rent the villa we want to assure to our guests that they can count on full assistance during their holidays. We're reachable 24 hours a day to help in case of need or to suggest restaurants or trattorias to dine in... 

The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 2 single and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 9 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls and a fax machine. Recreational activities available with the villa include table tennis.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 9 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided glassware.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

Pets are welcome

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private west facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a east facing patio area, a barbeque.

The villa is right beside swimming, fishing, walking, historic sites, a restaurant.

Close to the villa you will find cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, a museum, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, climbing, flying, skiing/snowboarding, scuba diving.
