This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom terraced villa is perfect for families or friends visiting Nerja together. It is superbly located just 12 minutes walk to Burriana beach and 15 minutes walk to the Balcon de Europa, but is in an exceptionally peaceful haven.

The house is south-facing and set in a pedestrianised, private community with beautiful mature gardens, full of birdsong. There is a large, supervised communal pool and paddling pool nearby, with panoramic views over Nerja to the sea. This is a truly perfect spot for a sunset swim.

 

After leaving your car in the large residents’ parking area, it is just a short, level walk to Casa de la Fuente through beautiful, well-tended flower gardens, it nestles in a very private spot behind a mature fig tree.

You enter the Casa via a large, tiled, sunny terrace with a beautiful fountain (la Fuente).
 

The front door leads into a bright hallway with visitor’s toilet/shower room and wrought iron staircase to the right. Double doors, to the left, lead into a large open plan L-shaped room. First there is a sitting area with comfortable sofas, SKY tv, video, DVD, stereo and wood burning stove. To the front there are large, double sliding doors opening the whole sitting room out on to the south-facing terrace. There you will find a table setting for 4 overlooking the gardens, where you can help yourself to ripe figs in August.

Behind the sitting area is an attractive dining area which seats six indoors and French windows to the rear leading out to a second, more private terrace , which gets the afternoon and evening sun. There you will find a barbecue area and another table setting for 6. There is also a washer/dryer and clothes’ lines. Opening the doors to both terraces gives the house a lovely airy feel, even on the hottest of days.

To the right of the dining area is an extremely well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas hob, electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and double sink (with mountain view!).

Heading upstairs you will find a very spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and shower. The master bedroom has a south-facing balcony overlooking the gardens, also to the front of the house, is a room with twin bunk beds. This room has a desk and (wi-fi) broadband internet connection, so feel free to bring your laptop. To the back of the house is a further double bedroom with views to the mountains. Each of the rooms has ample wardrobe space.

All south-facing windows have reflective glass, which not only gives enhanced privacy, but also keeps the house beautifully cool in Summer. 

On foot 12 minutes downhill stroll to Burriana 15 minutes walk to the beautiful Balcon de Europa. 5 minutes walk to the local tennis club (new blood welcomed). 3 minutes walk to a friendly local shop, with bakery and deli. 3 minutes walk to municipal tennis courts, football and basketball pitches, that are free. 3 minutes walk to a great hairdresser’s and beauty parlour with massage and reflexology. The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a north facing patio area, a south facing balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
