Situated on 20 acres of private land Orchard View Cottage is centrally located for a number of holiday activities. The sandy beaches of Kaiteriteri and Marahau and the Abel Tasman National Park are only 15 minutes away as is the township of Motueka with its shops, bars and restaurants.
The cottage comprises of two bedrooms and sleeps four people in one queen size bed and two single bunk beds. There is a double sofa bed in the living area for a fifth guest and a port a cot is available on request.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, stove microwave, toaster etc and there is satellite TV , CD player and telephone in the living/dining area.
The large sunny deck is perfect for outdoor living. Furnished with tables, chairs and gas BBQ it provides views over the orchard and across the valley. A great place to relax. There is always an abundance of native birdsong around the cottage plus our own free range hens, turkeys and peacocks. For the fly fisherman the Riwaka River is a two minute stroll away or the larger Motueka River is only a 10 minute car ride from the property. 

These include fishing, golf, horse riding, swimming, surfing, boating and sea kayaking. The local wine and craft trails provide a great day out.. A car is essential as Orchard View is a rural property off the main highway but only a few minutes away from the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park and the sandy beaches of Kaiteriteri and Marahau. 

Animals at the property include small farm animals (calves and lambs), dogs, horses, cats, free range ducks, hens and peacocks. Free range eggs and organic vegetables are available in season. There are numerous native birds including tuis and bell birds (well known for their wonderful song), fantails, wood pigeons and paradise ducks. There is also a Kea which makes an occasional appearance.  

Orchard View is set amidst 8 hectares private land including pasture, riverside and native bush. The cottage overlooks the kiwi fruit orchard with pine forest to the rear. We have small farm animals on site, free range hens and ducks, cats, dogs, horses and peacocks.Trout fishing is possible on the property.

The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the In the living area. This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The cottage has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls and a fax machine.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 5 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The cottage is in a very quiet area. It has a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The cottage is right beside fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the cottage you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, flying, horse riding, golf, tennis, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the cottage you will find climbing, skiing/snowboarding.

Local craft and wine trails.

The Abel Tasman National Park is 15 mins away.
