The villa is set in the valley overlooking the Loup gorge and the medieval towns of Bar-sur-Loup and Gourdon with spectacular views of the valley and surrounding hills. The area is extremely peaceful and private, just 9kms from the artisan village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, where there are numerous restaurants, galleries, local shops and central squares. Pont du Loup which has a tabac, Auberge and restaurant is within a short distance.
Tourrettes is an unspoilt medieval village perche with its own chateau and many local points of interest as well as fetes of St. Amoux and Madeleine in July, a firework display and ball on the 14th July and the festival de la Musique in both July and August

 

The light and airy villa is rustic Provencal style built of local stone with all bedrooms leading to either a private terrace or balcony. The villa is furnished with antiques.

The acre plus garden is strimmed, has many shaded areas and is full of shrubs, palms, orange, grapefruit and olive trees. There is a boules court.

The large 13 x 5 metre swimming pool has its own tiled area and diving board. It is alarmed for the safety of children. There are sun beds and sets of garden furniture for eating around the pool and outside. Outside games include tennis table.

Entering the main door, you come into a small hall area and onto a very large light and airy lounge. A large feature fireplace provides a focal point and the room opens onto south and south west facing terraces overlooking the garden, pool and the valley. Equipped with TV, DVD, Hi Fi. Telephone.

To the right of the hall is a separate dining room and a separate kitchen, both of which open onto terraces. The utility room with large washing machine leads off the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave. The summer kitchen with barbecue leads off from the internal kitchen and there is a large outdoor barbecue and dining area with outside teak furniture.

There is one bedroom on this level.

One bedroom with double sofa bed and French windows leading onto a south-facing terrace and the garden and pool area. There is also an extra single bed in this room. There is a guest cloakroom near.

A staircase leads from the lounge to 2 double bedrooms with double beds and built-in wardrobe space. Both bedrooms have French doors leading onto separate and private terraces, one facing east and one west facing, giving direct access to the outside area and pool. Separating them is a very large, luxury bathroom with bath, shower heads, double basins, toilet and bidet.





Another short staircase leads to the master bedroom, which has its own luxury bathroom with bath, shower, bidet and a separate toilet. The master bedroom and bathroom lead onto the private 1st floor balcony, which is south west facing and overlooks the pool and gardens and has spectacular views over the Gorge.

The grounds are delightful and private. There is parking for 2 cars in the garage and ample further parking by the entrance.

Patios or balcony to all rooms, north, south, east and west, some covered with plenty of garden furniture. One acre + garden, a lovely garden to explore, play or relax in, with plenty of shaded areas. Three wonderfull mature palm trees shade the pool area. There are two outside eating areas with tables and chairs plus seating spots. The summer kitchen has a BBQ, awning and lighting. The teak dining set seats 8 people comfortably. The pool has a diving board, sun loungers, grass and patio areas. Stunning views of the Gorge du Loup, a protective area of natural outstanding beauty.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 9 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the villa include table tennis.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a west facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the villa you will find fishing, climbing, horse riding, golf, tennis, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, flying, skiing/snowboarding, a sports center, scuba diving.
