Villa Aviara is a large private villa on 251sq meters of gated grounds within Hameau des Cigales (Grasshopper Hamlet) in Roquefort Les Pins which is a 25 minute drive north west of Nice international airport. The villa is a magical two story home-away-from-home built in the Provencal style with pale blue shutters and a terracotta tiled roof. The villa is surrounded by a landscaped garden with a wide variety of mature trees, in gated and secluded grounds. There are several parking spaces on the wide gravel driveway. This villa is suitable for a family of 8 and has a lovely enclosed pool and sun deck which is surrounded by a lawn and plenty of space for children to play or for adults to simply chill... It could also be a romantic hideaway with long evenings on the verandah enjoying the tranquility of the gardens. At night it is pitch black with a million stars and very quiet. 

The light and airy villa is typical Provencal style built in 1965 and is approximately 120sqm. in size. The property is entered from the verandah by french doors which open right into the living room. The verandah itself is large and spacious and provides a lovely setting for coffee or coctails. The villa is decorated with Provencal style furniture in shades of lemons, creams, greys and blues. The lighting and fixtures complement the environment. The main lounge is very comfortable and spacious and has book shelves, two sofas, coffee and side tables and an enclosed TV cabinet and fireplace. Directly off the lounge is the Dining Room with long dining table suitable for all types of dining. This in turn leads down to the Kitchen which is south facing and full of light. There is a state of the art stainless steel gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and sink. Meals can also be eaten al fresco at the long table in the lovely kitchen garden. Off the kitchen is a pantry and utility room with clothes washer and dryer. There is also a study with a desk,chairs and telephone and Internet connection for any unavoidable connection to the outside world!

The ground floor has two bedrooms one at the front of the villa which has a queensize bed and French doors which lead to the pool and gardens. Behind this is a second bedroom with twin beds. Both of these bedrooms share a large bathroom with shower and toilet.

Upstairs are another two bright airy bedrooms one of which has a kingsize bed and the other which holds two twin beds. They also share a large bathroom with bath and separate toilet.
 

There is a swimming pool with a sloping ramp for cooling off on warm days as well as a safety fence surrounding the pool which has now been removed and replaced with two state of the art pool alarms. Within the pool area are sun beds too . The large garden is regularly maintained and has many shaded areas and is full of a wide variety of mature trees, shrubs, palms and grass lawn.We usually hang out at the house, with all doors and windows open and the pool to lounge by and eat very well outside and plan an excursion for the next day or even do nothing at all. The surrounding area is really spectacular with ancient villages perched on mountain tops. Many beaches are very close by, San Tropez, Cannes, Antibes, and Nice all provide great outings. Go to Italy for the Saturday open air market in San Remo (1 hour drive) great fun with all sorts of things to buy.
 

The villa has wireless internet

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 2 cots. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only. Recreational activities available with the villa include a snooker/pool table.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
