Cumbrian Lakes is a gated community with its own 3 lakes and a wooded conservation area that has a walk/cycle way round it. There is a small play area for young children

The restaurants, shops and amenities of the 192 (including Medieval Times and a Walmart Superstore) are just 5 minutes away in the car.

It is essential to hire a car in order to fully enjoy a holiday here.

My house has 4 bedrooms:
Master bedroom suite with 5ft bed, patio doors to the pool area, and a fantastic en-suite with 2-person shower, huge bath, twin washbasins and separate toilet, plus walk-in wardrobe.
"Jack & Jill" bedrooms that share a full bathroom - one double (5ft bed again) and one twin.
Further twin room and third full bathroom.
All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and all have cable TV. Two bedrooms have a DVD player included with the TV.
There are hairdryers in every bathroom.

There is a large open plan living area with vaulted ceiling that includes the fully equipped kitchen (full size hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, waste disposal, etc), a breakfasting area, a formal dining area, and sitting area with cable TV(32”), DVD & VHS, CD player, all fully furnished and including a double bed-settee if required. Patio doors lead out to the pool again.

All air conditioned (living area and master bedroom also have ceiling fans) and equipped with all bedding, towels, tea towels, etc.. There is a safety deposit box installed for your further peace of mind, plus the house is protected by a monitored burglar alarm.

The house has a small selection of family board games and holiday reading material.

Telephone with all calls free is installed.

The fully screened pool and deck area at the back includes a spa. The pool and spa both have under-water lighting. Part of the patio area is covered ("lanai") and that is 26' by 8' with a light & fan in the ceiling. There is an outdoor dining table, chairs and sun-loungers.

I have contracted a local management company who can provide BBQ, additional cleaning, etc charged separately. They would obviously deal immediately with any problem that arose during your stay. They provide a 24 hour emergency number for any urgent problems.
 

Additional facilities, such as BBQ, travel cot for infants and maid service can be hired at extra cost from the local manangement company.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living Room. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking villa

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the villa you will find horse riding, golf, tennis, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find fishing, a zoo, a themepark.

Onie says: "The house was nice with minor maintenance issues like the carpet was stained in a couple of places, dark marks on the walls and the screens were missing from the living room patio door and the master bedroom window. The garage smelled terrible, had to leave open for a while to let it air out. Other than those minor things, the vacation home was nice. "

When we took them to the theme parks, they were often inquiring on when we going back to the home so they could get into the pool. I had a nice time too. NB The management company tell me that a mix-up over garbage collection caused the garage smell and they have changed their procedures to ensure it does not happen again.
