Less than 2 miles from Disney's Animal Kingdom, Emerald Island Resort is located just off the 192, and is also ideally placed for shops and restaurants.Why pay hotel room prices? Why pay for something you are not really going to get the benefit of?

All guests enjoy the FREE use of the resorts facilities such as the two community heated pools (no hidden pool heat costs!), spa, fitness center, sauna and volleyball court. There are also nature trails, a picnic area and a kid's play area.

A Cyber Cafe is also available to catch up on all the e-mails or if you bring your laptop, free broadband in the home!!

Floodlit tennis courts are also available free from our home, and racquets with balls for your use are available from clubhouse.

Are you a light sleeper? Can you be sure of the location of your home if booked through an agency? Our townhome boasts a wonderful outlook that only a very few on this resort can offer with its screened in deck saving you keeping all the doors shut at night because of bugs!

Located close enough to enjoy the resorts facilities, but far enough away to ensure you are not disturbed by them, especially when you are trying to sleep! Fully air-conditioned, our house is fully furnished, including items such as a refrigerator-freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, oven and microwave, washer and dryer, not to mention all bed linens and towels (including 8 pool towels). Cable TV is provided, with TV's located in the lounge and ALL bedrooms. Ceiling fans have recently been added for your additional comfort to the lounge and all bedrooms.
A DVD player is provided should you be unable to find anything on the numerous channels, or alternatively, you may wish to challenge the children (no age limit!!) with our Playstation 2, complete with 6 games and controllers.Cot, stroller & high chair, TVs in all room's.

If not, then perhaps a chilled drink relaxing after a day at the theme parks relaxing whilst admiring the view across the lake watching the numerous birds that frequent it and conservation area to the rear.

Our three bedroom, two and one-half bath townhouse/villa in the lovely Emerald Island Resort is in the quieter "west side" area of the resort, close to the tennis courts and with its own pool/spa area. The clubhouse features an exercise room, game room, WiFi meeting room and computer/internet area. There is a large pool and hot tub also at the clubhouse, as well as a tiki bar.

Freshly painted and charmingly decorated our villa features a queen-size bed in the master suite (en suite bath with two-person shower) with its own TV and balcony, queen bedded second bedroom and two twin beds in the bright and sunny third bedroom-perfect for the kids. A full bath is shared by the second and third bedrooms.

The living area boasts a queen size sleeper sofa, cable TV with DVD player, sliding door to the shared grass area with plenty of room to run around. The large dining area seats eight, and the fully equipped kitchen is perfect for saving money by cooking your own meals or snacks.

The large clubhouse and luxurious heated swimming pool are the center of activity for the community. Free use of
sun loungers and a large deck area make it a perfect spot for a days sunbathing.The clubhouse has something for
everyone including a spa with hot tub, sauna and steam room, a meeting room for informal gatherings, and a
computer for guest access to the internet.Staffs are on hand to assist with dinner reservations, attraction tickets
or transportation.

Emerald Island Resort has 3 bed and 4 bed townhouses, as well as villas with private pools. Villas range in size up
to 7 bedrooms, allowing parties of up to 16 guests to stay together. Vacation townhouses are quickly becoming the
hottest trend in home-away-from-home travel luxuries. They offer every convenienceof a hotel room (towels,
cleaning service, cable TV, clubhouse amenities) plus all the benefits of your own home, including state of the art

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television and home cinema with video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, tennis, a sports center, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, flying, cycling, golf, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, a themepark.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, wind surfing, scuba diving.

Tony says: "An excellent house, plenty of room, and everything you need for a vacation, with a few minor exceptions. The management company was very responsive - we did not have a crib in the house, I left a message the first night, and there was one delivered the next day. Pool was great (if chilly), lots of space in the house. Pool table and table soccer were unexpected bonus, PS2 was good distraction from the fact that the TV didnt have cable, and only one channel worked (it was very fuzzy) - but we were out of the house so much we hardly noticed it. There were a few small things - TV remote battery cover was missing, screen door was loose, no darts - that needed maintenance, and the carpets had a couple of marks on them, but there was nothing to really detract from a very enjoyable experience, and I would certainly stay there again. "
