Gecko Villa is set within private gardens and orchards, and surrounded by rice fields. The Villa is located on its own extensive private farmlands on Thailand's Isaan plateau.

The property is easily accessible form Udon Thani airport, which is serviced by both international and budget airlines.

We do all we can to make your stay memorable. We will be hapy to introuduce you into the local way of life and visit the area, or alterntively to leave you to enjoy the privacy of the villa and grounds.

Free airport transfers are provided, and meals cooked for you daily; your laundry done, atc..all at no additional charge.  

There is a large air-conditioned Main Bedroom with teak King bed, en suite toilet & sink, and garden shower.

The 2nd air-conditioned bedroom shares an en suite bathroom and shower with the third king bedded, fan-cooled bedroom.

We will be happy to show you how to cook Thai food. Go walking (or take our bicycles) and explore the surroundings, rich in temples & villages, lakes & farms, and the wetlands of Nong Harn.

Help us plant or harvest the green or golden rice fields - some local rice whisky may help you along. Or fish at the large nearby lake and photograph original scenes & characters.

Watch the rocket festival; experience giving alms to the monks; try riding a water buffalo, Mor Lam dancing, or a traditional massage. And if learning our language and culinary secrets gets tiring, enjoy our food and rice whisky and listen by your pool as cicadas take the pulse of the night... 

The country house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The country house has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the country house cool.

The country house has television and home cinema with dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 5 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this country house.

The country house is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The country house is right beside swimming, walking, cycling.

Close to the country house you will find fishing.

Within easy reach of the country house you will find historic sites, a museum, a restaurant.
