This is an old farm cottage, renovated to the highest standard. The property has 3 bedrooms (one is an annexe set apart from the main house), all with ensuite facilities. A large kitchen with all mod cons, air conditioning, broadband internet access, Freeview satellite TV and phone. Private pool, extensive terracing, stunning views, private (but not isolated) and peaceful location yet close to shops/restaurants etc (10 minute drive). The nearest village of Riofrio, which the house overlooks, is famous for its trout and award-winning caviar, and has at least 7 restaurants. 

The house is just over an hours drive to the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, with one of the best winter snow records in Europe. There is a wood-burning stove for those cosy winter nights, and heating from the air-con units and electric radiatiors (extra charge). 

A car is essential, although there is a bus sevice to Loja from the bottom of the drive. The cities of Granada, Cordoba and Malaga are all within an hours drive, and Seville is within 2 hours. This is a perfect place as a base for visiting all the historic towns and cities of Andalucia. Several beaches of the Costa del Sol are also within an hours drive. It is possible to combine a beach holiday with a ski holiday.

As the third bedroom is set away from the main house, if it is not needed, we will negotiate a price reduction. 

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 2 cots, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Bedroom 3. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool.

The house has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, panoramic views, a barbeque.
