The villa is set in its own grounds completely detached and gated it has been extensively rebuilt and modernised to a high standard The villa is in a quiet location ideal for experiencing the cultural heritage and outstanding natural beauty of rural Andalucia. The area is dominated by nature reserves and lakes yet only an hour away from the spectacular Sierra Nevada mountains.
The villa is beautifully furnished with luxurious towels and bed linen provided. There is a beautiful terrace at the front of the property it is shaded and ideal to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also an additional utility area with wc and shower adjacent to the swimming pool. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and air conditioning.
The pool is 14 x 8 metres with easy access steps leading into the shallow end ideal for very young children or elderly persons. and has a large sunbathing area. There is a covered bar area also. There is an excellent outside dining area which will seat up to 28 people. There is also a large garden with many plants and fruit trees.(peach,apple,lemon and mandarin) Ideal for fresh lemon for your G & T.
To the rear and side of the property are beautiful views of olive groves and countryside with a natural park within a 5 minute drive. Due to the rural location a Spanish phrase book would be useful.  

This is the perferct base from where you can go horse riding, hiking, bird watching or even skiing in the winter months. There are several lakes and nature reserves right on the doorstep ideal for nature lovers and walkers.
In the town of Puente Genil there are many shops and bars/restaurants,a cinema and museum.
The beautiful city of Seville is within an hours drive where there is also a theme park - Isla Magica and a spectacular cathedral, well worth a visit. 

A large Carrefour supermarket is within a short drive (open 10am to 10pm)where there is also a coffee shop and bowling alley. All shops in the area close on Sundays and fiestas and many close for siesta between 2pm and 5pm but are open late into the evening.

The local bar/restaurant, Rancho Chico, is a typical Spanish restaurant but has a menu in English and is very welcoming.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 4 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the in master bedroom, 2 double sofa beds located in the downstairs lounge area. This gives room for up to 11 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 5 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking villa

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find walking, a sports center, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Lynn says: "Fantastic property in the heart of Andalucia. Huge, well-maintained swimming pool was wonderful and the facilities were very good. We did however find some of the beds uncomfortable but I'm sure this could be easily rectified. We were only a small party so the kitchen facilties were adequate for our needs but the actual kitchen cooking space would be a challenge for a large party. The satellite Tv connection was a bit temperamental - if you want access to Sky Sports you would need to negotiate with the owner, presumably."

Owner reply:
New mattresses have now been installed , as for sky it is not really viable as sky sports and movies etc are subscription channels and we felt not necessary with so much else to do in the area.the sky problems were solved with the removal of a tree in line with the dish.
