Situated in the Fuente Maria Valley of the Subbettica Sierra just a 10 minutes walk and 2 minute drive from the beautiful old Baroque town of Priego de Cordoba with its abundance of shops, café bars, churches and fantastic architecture affording you a taste of real Spanish Culture.

Guests can also use the facilities of the nearby hotel (500 metres) which include large outdoor swimming pool with water slides, restaurant and bar

The villa offers spacious self -catering accommodation, whith one en-suite bedroom, open plan living, dining and kitchen all on one level. The interior is, of course elegantly furnished to a superb standard

The lounge has 2 comfortable leather sofa’s, satellite TV, DVD, CD player, well stocked library, log burning stove (mainly for those cooler winter evenings).

Full windows to the front of the villa afford the courtyard as an extension of the lounge. Electric cooling fans are also supplied.

We also provide travel, cot, high chair and baby walker if required.

The modern kitchen provides breakfast bar, oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and ample utensils, glassware and crockery to make your stay enjoyable. The main house is fitted with a state of the art water filter system and the owners will ensure guests are provided with pure water for the duration of their stay. There is also a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board, and games.

With these things provided you need only bring the sun cream to relax and have a wonderful time.

 

Priego de Cordoba is situated in the heart of the Subbettica National Park (Malaga Airport 90 mins Granada Airport 60 mins)

40 minutes from the famous hilltop village of Iznajar and its magnificent lake and beach its location was carfully selected by the owners for its central location and easy access to the Cities of Granada (the heart of the old Moorish Kingdom) Cordoba and Seville.

The villa is situated in 2500sq metres of beautiful natural gardens and orchard with apple, fig, pomegranate, walnut and peach trees to name a few. (Please feel free to help ourself to any in season fruit and veg). The villa is entered via large double gates and drive providing ample parking and has its own 35sq metre walled courtyard with barbeque, bistro table and chairs for al-fresco dining, sun beds, large retractable parasol and offers complete privacy.

Our 8 meter by 4 meter swimming pool is surrounded by lush gardens overlooked by the mountains of the Subbettica Sierra and whenever you are poolside you have exclusive use. The pool area has sun beds and 2 large retractable parasols giving plenty shade when required. For the more energetic a multi-gym, stepper and ladies and gents mountain bikes are freely available for guests.

We want you to return home not only feeling refreshed and relaxed, but already planning your return visit. We intend to host your stay as best we can so come and enjoy!

The villa comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 2 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. Recreational activities available with the villa include a home gym.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 2 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The rooms were very spacious and all our needs were catered for from cooking and BBQ-ing facilities, comfy sleeping and living areas (including TV and DVD provision) to a private courtyard and even a lovely view by the pool. We couldnt have been made more welcome by the owners, Mary and Peter (and their lovely dogs!). They made sure we had everything we needed and were a valuable source of information about the locality. We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely accommodation to single travellers or couples looking for a place to stay away from the hubbub of the coast, with friendly hosts and as a base for exploring the beautiful Andalucian scenery.
