The cottage is situated in a small village of Ondrejovice, located within the olomouc region. The nearest town is Zlata Hory, about 3.5km away which contains 1 moderate supermarket and 2 small food shops. The village is in very close proximity to the Polish border at the very northerly edge of the Jeseniky range. The flatter lands of Poland seems to run infinitely from the view points at the top of the village. The cottage is situated half way up a moderately inclined tarmac road, which leads up into to the hills and mountains. At 1.5km away a local must see is Rejviz with its nature reserve, compromising of wooden hostels and B+Bs set on a high road with great panaramic views . About half of the properties in this village are weekend cottages, owned by people from surrounding Moravia, coming here to enjoy some peace and tranquillity. There is a small shop at the bottom of the road, about 500mtrs. At 1km away there are two restaurants next to each other offering good food at reasonable prices. Down the road, 1.7km away is the Zlata Hory gold mining activity center. Zlata Hory translating as Gold Mountain. Very close to the cottage is a horse riding school for horse back adventures. So if you want a quiet location, within easy reach of beautiful nature, local walks and amenities then this area could suit you.  

Two decent sized double bedrooms upstairs, although stairs not recommended for the elderly. Downstairs, bathroom with a bath/ shower/basin. Smaller bedroom downstairs contains a small table with chairs with 1 single bed and a guest bed underneath. This room can sleep 2 children comfortly. Living room sofa doubles as a pull out bed, more suitable for sleeping 2 children. Important note! The cottage is advertised for a maximum of 8 people, we recommend for best comfort that 4 adults sleep upstairs with 4 children sleeping downstairs as a guidline. The dining area seats for up to 6 adults and is connected through to the living area, which can also seat 6 adults. The outside area has a seating and patio area, this contains a garden table with bench seats. A portable barbecue is supplied for your use. Outside has an activity play area for children. The garden has a tidy natural look and is in keeping with the surrounding nature. A small stream runs through the garden with a footbridge across. There is a lockable garage for one medium sized car to fit in comfortably and 2 roadside spaces outside.  

The Jeseniky Mountain range has been reputably quoted as being the lungs of Europe. The air in this region is recognised as being very clean. Minimal Agriculture, low industrial output and low population rates contribute to this. But the main contributor to this clean air is the 740km2 of little disturbed ecology. The area has the richest botanical diversity of the Czech Republic. Many people comes here for treatments from conditions such as asthma and eczema. There are a few spa towns in the region, the nearest being Jeseniky Lipova Lazne. Situated on a high panoramic viewpoint. The next is the Mountain spa town of Karlova Studanka. There are a criss cross network of walking and cycling trails of various difficulty throughout the Jeseniky range. The fishing here is excellent with plentiful rivers of fresh water trout. There are 2 local cave systems Na Spicaku 13km away and Na Pomezi 33km away. Guided tours of the caves available. and highly recommended. The region has a lower population growth than other areas of CZ, so there is less traffic and more free space to enjoy. Food prices and eating out is cheaper than most other areas of CZ. 

The Jeseniky Mountains are great for Winter skiing with 4 main ski areas with over 20 ski centers in the region. The largest one, Mt Praded 1491meters, being 35km away. One of the cheapest regions to ski with quieter lifts for more ski time. This area recieves good amounts of snow. Season runs from October through to April. There is a small privately owned ski lift, run by a local restaurant for a fee. Ideal for fun with the kids. 1km away. Winter rental becoming available for the 2009-2010 season.

The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 single sofa bed, 1 double sofa bed located in the Living Room. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The cottage has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
