The house in a superb location on a hilltop, very close to a large area of National Parkland, with a view of the sea from the rooftop solarium. The house is well away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal strip , but a number of beaches are only 10 minutes away by car. There are bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk, and yet the location is very quiet and peaceful. There is a large population of permanent residents, many from the UK, who know where to go, what to do, and how to get things done.
 

The quality of build of the houses is very high, with ceramic tiles thoughout, fully-fitted kitchen, beautiful pine doors and fittings, built-in wardrobes, one full bathroom and one shower room/laundry. Life in Spain is lived mainly out-of doors, though air-conditioning is fitted to provide comfort in the heat of summer, and the large 5mx5m patio area in the garden provides an alfresco dining and entertainment area.
The house has been furnished as a family home, with high quality furniture and bedding - a king size double bed in the master bedroom, two 3' single beds in the twin, and a comfortable sofa bed in the downstairs bedroom. This room is ideal as a reading room, being at the back of the house, and looking out onto the small citrus orchard to the side of the property.
 

In the immediate vicinity are Spanish, Indian, and English bars, restaurants and pub. There are local shops and supermarkets that can provide all required supplies. Within 10 minutes by car is the coast, with wonderful coastal footpaths running from the marina at Cabo Roig to the beaches of La Zenia and Playa Flamenca. The Orihuela Costa beaches vary from rocky, as at Punta Prima, to long stretches of golden sand, such as at Campoamor.
A car is not essential, as taxis are available to/from San Javier and Alicante airports, and for local trips to restaurants or shops. However, for regular trips to the beach and the villages away from the coast, or to historical sites such as Murcia, Elche, Orihuela, and Cartagena, a hire car is strongly recommended.
 

The property will sleep 6, including the sofa bed in the downstairs bedroom/reading room, however we would recommend a maximum of 4 adults. The garden has a large 5m x 5m patio with stone table and seats to provide a permanent outside dining/entertainment area. A smaller patio in the midst of citrus trees provides an ideal reading spot.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
