Our nicely furnished 3 Bedroomed House was completed in June 2002 and is located in a residential area (Pinada Golf) next to Villamartin Championship Golf Course, an easy 40 minutes drive South of Alicante Airport or 20 minutes North of Murcia Airport. It comprises of: on the ground floor, c/w extended south facing patio with table & chairs, with H&C Aircon, a lounge with sofa & chairs, wall unit c/w TV, DVD with films, portable radio/CD player, a dining area with table & chairs, open style fully equipped kitchen and cloakroom/WC & a twin bed room, containing large bunk beds. On the first floor, accessed via a marble staircase, a large family bathroom and 2 bedrooms (both with H&C Aircon) one with a double bed with direct access to a sun terrace through patio doors, the other with two single beds, both with fitted wardrobes, (a travel cot is available). From the 1st floor a further marble stairway takes you to the large roof sun terrace complete with sun furniture and small BBQ. The villa is freshly decorated and is fitted with Spanish tiling and marble flooring throughout. The kitchen is complete with a washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, oven, hob and equipment. Our house is situated on a nice plot with an enclosed garden and gated driveway. All linen/towels are provided; all you have to do is bring yourself. A landscaped communal swimming pool is available very nearby (1 min walk). 

The local area of mainly British residents is residential, so there are no high-rise hotels to cloud the clear blue skies, like much of this part of Spain, is currently being developed albeit not next to our Calle (Street). Our villa is a pleasant 10-minute walk by the golf course to Villamartin Plaza (which comes alive at night) , and has a good selection of shops, restaurants, bars and a well-stocked supermarket. A little closer by are 3 local bar /restaurants. The clear warm sea of the Med is an easy 10 min drive down the hill where you will find some lovely beaches and pleasant walks as well as other restaurants and bars. A little further a field (20 mins) is the market town of Torrevieja, which is a medium sized town with many shops, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and a good market where many bargains can be bought. This place is great for water sports and the international marina with the capacity for 1500 boats is always busy and it is great to sit with a cold beer and watch life go by!BEACHES Within a short drive of the house, the beaches are plentiful and vary from vast expanses of sand to small pebble coves. Many of the safe white sandy beaches are proud to display the prestigious Blue Flag, which is awarded by the EU for cleanliness and safety. The beaches along the coastline close to Villamartin are La Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, and Campoamor. La Zenia is the closest to the house,onlyafewminutesdrive.
Calla Captaen is next to La Zenia and is a very safe beach to swim or snorkel. . You can take a boat ride to the island of Tabarca where scuba diving is a pleasure, or sail along the coast. Fishing trips and boat rides are available from the port of Torrevieja. During the day you can enjoy the sea and sun along the magnificent beaches, while at night time you can enjoy a meal in one of the many excellent restaurants along the seafront. Regardless of your choice of beach you will not be disappointed.
 

As mentioned, our villa is situated next to Villamartin Championship Golf Course, which has an abundance of olive trees and well placed bunkers to make it a challenging course for players of all abilities. If that was not enough to tempt the golfers, then within 5 mins drive we have another two!, Las Ramblas which is a stunning, but short course and is most challenging. High trees, natural fairways and ravines feature strongly in this memorable course. Finally we have Campoamor, which is situated, in two valleys with magnificent views and with a beautiful clubhouse to finish off the day! For the hard to please a 30 min drive further south will bring you to La Manga the world famous golf resort with three 18-hole courses to choose from. It is important to bring your handicap card as well as plenty of sunscreen. What more can the enthusiastic golfer ask for! 

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The house has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this house.

The house is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
