The Villa was newly built in 2005 and was newly furnished to a high standard throughout ready for the start of the 2006 season and has been maintained to a high standard throughout.

The accommodation comprises 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en suite), and cloakroom. Downstairs is an open plan living room / dining area and kitchen.

The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and microwave with a full range of cooking utensils, ample crockery and cutlery. There is also a cafatiere and hand juicer. An iron and ironing board is also provided.

The lounge area has TV, satellite, DVD player and CD player ( with ipod connection ). There are settees and dining table for six. Sliding patio doors lead to the covered veranda area and on to the garden and private pool.

The main bedroom has a king sized bed, en suite fully tiled shower room, built in wardrobe (with security safe) and ample clothes storage in bedside cabinets and large chest of drawers. French windows lead to a balcony with views over the forests and mountains.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed, wardrobe and storage, there is access to a small balcony.

Bedroom 3 has two single beds and ample clothes storage.

The family bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath, with shower over.

All rooms are fully air-conditioned and with marble flooring throughout.

Outside is a private swimming pool surrounded by sunbathing terracing and lawned areas – sunbeds and umbrellas are supplied. There is a covered veranda area with built in barbeque and wooden patio furniture. There is private parking if required.

Set peacefully in pine forests, the Villa has lovely views on to the forest and to the mountains beyond. Easy access to walks through the woods and with wildlife on your doorstep including wild tortoises, squirrels, eagles and numerous local birds.

The quoted price includes a cleaning service with all bed linen and bath towels provided.

We have tried to cater for all extras that we as a family would like to avoid having to take with us in a suitcase. The Villa has hairdryers, beach towels, use of pay as you go mobile phone for ease of booking taxis etc. mobile phone chargers (Nokia), ipod charger, ample UK plug adapters, alarm clocks etc.

Transport to and from Dalaman airport can be arranged for you if required at competive prices .

Travel cots and high chairs can be arranged – at additional cost.

We feel that the local transport is more than adequate to get around the area and have not had to hire a car, though some guests choose to do this to explore the area more thoroughly. ( there is parking at the Villa ) The local 'dolmus' are easily accessable and are cheap to use and run all day until 01.00hrs. We have neogotiated preferential terms for guests at the Villa with a taxi service who will pick up from the Villa within 10 minutes of your call, from the mobile phone provided, with fixed prices to the usual destinations agreed. Taxi fares usually double after midnight and again this is waived for our guests. For 5 or 6 passengers it is actually cheaper to use the taxi service rather than the dolmus bus service.

It is also possible to effectively have use of a taxi & driver all day for tourist trips etc. Dependend on the distances involved this can be from around £40 per day. Full details of all trips, recommended restaurants and previous guest feedback and ideas are held at the Villa for your assistance.

There is no need for for any injections or vaccinations to visit this area of Turkey. In the event of any medical emergency there is 24 hour medical assistance in Hisaronu and modern private hospital facilites in Fethiye for peace of mind. We had cause to use this service ourselves for an ear infection - An immediate appointment with the Doctor led to an immediate referral to a Consultant at the Hospital. This was within the hour. The Consultant was 10 minutes late and very apologetic - rather better service than the NHS !


 

Araxa Villas is a small complex of detached Villas set in a tranquil and secluded location within pine forests nestling at the foot of the mountains. It is ideal for those looking for a quiet location.

The complex has 24 hour security for your peace of mind. There is also a dedicated maintenance team on site responsible for the upkeep of your own pool and private gardens which are attended to every day during your stay. Should there be any problems at all with the Villa there is always a friendly face on hand to help. The Villa management work together with the team and are available 24 hours per day should any emergency arise.

The local shop, about 5 minutes walk away, offer a 24 hour delivery service for your convenience. Either choose your supplies at the shop or there is a full list at the Villa to ring through your order which is with you in minutes - nearly as good as Tesco direct !

Araxa 4 is within easy reach of the bustling town of HISARONU which is within 10 minutes ‘dolmus’ or taxi ride and offers a full range of bars, restaurants, shops & now 2 supermarkets and clubs to meet all tastes. There is also a local market every Monday with a large choice of locally grown produce , clothes, shoes, leather goods and souvenirs.

Five minutes further on from Hisaronu is the famous OLU DENIZ beach and BLUE LAGOON voted one of the top 10 best beaches worldwide by the Rough Guide. The beach area has numerous bars and restaurants overlooking the bay. and is an ideal setting to watch the sunset whiilst enjoying a evening drink on the beach. A range of water sports is available and boat trips from the beach. This is also one of the world's top locations for paragliding which can be enjoyed as a spectator or join in on a tandem jump from 2000m to land on the beach - an unforgettable experience!

The town of FETHIYE, again some 10 minutes by ‘dolmus’ or taxi offers a full range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. There is a large bazaar area, known as the Paspatur, and weekly market offering a range of local produce as well as a large range of clothing, leather goods etc. Fethiye also has a large marina with boat trips offered along the picturesque coastline. There is a large local market every Tuesday offering locally grown produce as well a massive choice of clothing, shoes, leather goods and souvenirs..

CALIS BEACH is a further 2 miles to the north of Fethiye and has nearly 4 miles of sandy beach again offering a full range of facilities and water sports.

 

The area offers a range of activities to suit all tastes – from tandem paragliding from Babadag mountain to land on Oludeniz beach, to historic lycian sites around the area.

With teenage children ourselves we have found that there is ample to do and at very reasonable prices. These include :

SKIING - A ski resort is being built within about 45 minutes drive from the Villa.


 

Set in the pine forests and overlooking the mountains. From our own experience of renting Villa's in various countries we have tried to ensure that Araxa 4 is fully equipped with everything that is needed to ensure your comfort and convenience should you choose to stay here.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
