Villa Olaoire is a modern 4 bed villa offering excellent accommodation which comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Set in a peaceful location on the edge of a former olive grove just below the popular village of Ozankoy. It is close to the sea and has stunning mountain views. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance with the main picturesque harbour of Girne (Kyrenia) within a 5 min drive. Buses pass along the main road which is a 2 mins walk and this will take you into Kyrenia and the harbour. There are several nice beaches nearby with the popular Diana beach just 1.3km away. Turtle beach where you can watch the turtles nesting and the new international golf course at Esentepe are only a 10-15 minute drive away.
The private 8x4m pool ensures that you can have a leisurely dip and a traditional brick built barbeque means you can eat ‘alfresco’ at any time. Sun loungers and parasols make this villa the perfect place for you to get away from it all but still be within easy reach of town.
 

Northern Cyprus is blessed with the most pleasing climate in the whole of Europe. The winters are mild, and rarely extend beyond February, and with over 300 days of sunshine a year the temperature can reach into the 70s as early as March. In April and May Northern Cyprus is at its most beautiful with fields of wild flowers in full bloom and beautiful weather. June, July and August are the hottest months and ideal for sun-worshippers. Not surprisingly September and October are the most popular months when the weather is still wonderfully warm, rarely below 80° F.

Whether you are on one of the lovely sandy beaches, swimming in the safe warm Mediterranean, exploring the beautiful harbour or up in the Besparmak mountains climbing castles, you will sense the beauty of the place. The people are warm and friendly and the food and drink amazing.

The crusader port of Kyrenia (Girne) has a wonderful and enchanting harbour. By day you can hire boats to take you along the coast fishing or to swim on one of the many turtle beaches. In the evening, why not dine in one of the numerous restaurants on the water's edge and sample the local meze, and then maybe visit one of the casinos or small nightclubs in the town.

For culture and history lovers there's the amazing Kyrenia Castle (with the oldest shipwreck in the world), Bellapais Abbey, the Salamis ruins or St. Hilarion castle perched high on the Besparmak mountains.

For the more active there are plenty of opportunities for hill walking and cycling and of course activities such as diving, sailing, water skiing, paragliding and fishing. Golf is available as well as clay pigeon shooting.

For nature lovers why not visit the protected Karpaz peninsula or one of the many Turtle projects along the coast. 

The ground floor consists of a large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. The lounge has two beautiful sofas, coffee table and TV. Off the lounge is the dining room with dining table and chairs. This room has patio doors leading onto a lovely terrace overlooking the private pool. The well equipped kitchen includes oven/hob, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer.

There is air conditioning and Cyprus marble throughout the villa to ensure a pleasant stay.

There are bathrooms on the ground floor and first floor and an en-suite in the master bedroom.
Upstairs the master bedroom is attractively furnished and has an en-suite shower, double bed, fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. There are double opening patio doors which lead out onto a fantastic roof terrace, this has been furnished with quality furniture and the uninterrupted views of the mountains and Bellapais Abbey are truly spectacular.

The other three bedrooms are beautifully furnished with wrought iron furniture. One bedroom has a double bed and the others have twin beds. One of the twin bedrooms is located on the ground floor which is ideal if there are eldery guests staying. All bedrooms have wardrobes and air conditioning. The bedrooms have spectacular views of the Besparmak mountains.

Please note beach towels are not provided.

Prices quoted are for 4 people. The villa can accomodate up to 8 people comfortably. For any extra person a surplus of about £30 per week will be added.

 

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. Maire says: "A nicely decorated, modern & spacious villa, which was very comfortable for our stay. It's in a nice quiet area but not too secluded. The private pool was great and was cleaned regularly which was good. Really enjoyed our stay and had some great BBQs by the pool. Also ate at some lovely restaurants and there are a few within walking distance of the villa, two of which are Notting Hill and Le Jardin. There was some useful advice in the villa on places to visit around the area and the island. We loved Northern Cyprus and the villa so we'll definitely be back! "
