This large resort area is on the west coast of Corfu island (about 16 miles/26km from Corfu Town) and consists of six beautiful coves with sandy beaches, surrounded by green forests and olive trees. Local tavernas are renowned for serving up the town’s delicious lobster catches. There is a monastery, dating from 1228, on the promontory about a mile from the beach. A medieval castle, Angelokastro, overlooks the area, sited on a hilltop which can be reached by a very scenic drive via the village of Lakones, or on foot, though the walk is arduous.
This resort is famous for its breathtaking beauty and magnificent scenery. Paleokastritsa is the type of place where you will quickly make friends with locals and be drawn back to its beauty and charm again and again. Retaining a fairly laid back atmosphere this is the perfect retreat for families and anyone wishing to escape the bustle of every day life, although the resort does get rather busy with "day trips" wanting to capture the beautiful views such as those from the Bella Vista on film.

All of the rooms have comfortable armchairs as well as 8 additional armchairs in the living room. We also maintain a library consisted of many English language novels. The view from all balconies combines a shight to greenful slopes with a sight to the sea's skyline.

The apartment comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 4 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Richard says: "I was expecting a villa, but in fact it was an appartment, though spacious enough. Level of equipment was poor - 2 ring BabyBell is not enough for 8, no corkscrew, wine glasses etc, but location was fine and standard good"
