A mini supermarket is 500 metres away in Budens. Lagos, the main local town, is 15 minutes by car and offers a great range of restaurants, a lively covered market, and lots of shops in old cobbled streets. Its old harbour is rich in history as the base of famous king Henry the Navigator’s fleet. Only fifteen minutes' drive to the west, the Atlantic coast offers a surfer’s paradise, the costa Vicentina and also exceptional walking trails for the nature lover.

Golf course

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Lounge. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm. The villa has a sauna.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only. Recreational activities available with the villa include a snooker/pool table, table tennis.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

Gernot says: "The house is in the new construction phase of PDF, therefore there is still some construction about 50 meters away. The house is very nice, well equipped and in "as new" condition. However the features mentioned in the description (sauna, home-gym, billiard table) are not there. The use of the main pool, kids club (closed) and the spa (approx. 2 km away) have to be paid. There is one very small pool near the house and another bigger one looks like it is finished soon. You get 40% discount on green fee at PDF Golf Course. There is a cleaning service twice a week and all linens and towels are provided. All in all a great house once the construction is over."

Many thanks for the feedback and for the positive remarks.

The construction has now been completed, although it was mentioned at that stage of rental in the description of the property. We have also retained, for a little while longer, a description of occasional noise although it is rare now.

The questions of the features of the house have been resolved - the 3 features to which you refer were intended to be part of the overall development and not of the house itself. Finally, our apologies for the need to pay for access to the main pool - while the local pool was still in construction, as guests of that phase of the development, you should not have had any cost in accessing the main pool. I have communicated this to the Vigia (developer) management.
