Our apartment is on the wonderful Dewa Phuket resort complex. This is a beautiful, tranquil, boutique beach resort, ideally located meters from the aquamarine waters of the Andaman Sea on Phuket’s tranquil Nai Yang Beach, and adjacent to Sirinath National Park. This part of Phuket lacks the bustle and noise of resorts further south on the island, and lends itself to a relaxed hassle-free vacation. Although the resort is just a short transfer from the airport, it is not on any of the flight approach/take off paths and so is not affected by aircraft noise, and so maintains an enviable combination of tranquillity and airport proximity.

The resort is spacious, with an Asian themed design and a relaxing atmosphere. The friendliness and generous hospitality of the Thai people is always present throughout your stay. The resort offers several low key dining options, tropical landscaped gardens, 24/7 hour room service to the apartment, spa, gym, shops for basic necessities, library, kids corner, and two large swimming pools with broad sun-decks. In addition, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access is provided throughout the resort.

Nearby (5 minutes walk), there are various reasonably priced restaurants adjacent to Nai Yang beach, where you can watch the sun go down over a cool drink. Phuket has a wide variety of eating options to cater for all tastes and price ranges, and the resort reception staff can advise on availability and make bookings for you. The reception can also arrange car hire if you want to explore the area on your own or book a taxi to take you to the local shopping malls!
 

Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is on the third floor of Dewa residence, has a large wrap around balcony and enjoys westerly views towards the amazing sunsets over the Andaman Sea and Nai Yang beach. The Apartment is accessed by lifts serving all floors, is furnished to the highest standards with understated Thai elegance. The apartment is fully air conditioned, with air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms and the lounge area, to ensure your comfort even in the sultriest Thai weather. The master bedroom has a large double bed, fitted wardrobes, TV and en-suite bathroom with bath, large shower cubicle and twin sinks. The second bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and a separate bathroom with shower and twin sinks. The lounge/dining area has a large sofa and an easy chair, TV (satellite channels included) and dining table and chairs for 4 people. The galley kitchen is well fitted out with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, and a range of cutlery and crockery.

Utility costs are included in the apartment rental charges, but cleaning/maid services are not included. On arrival at Dewa, you will be asked to choose the level of cleaning/maid services that you prefer, and will be able to pay locally for your choice. All cleaning/maid service costs are very reasonable, but each guest has different preferences – this method retains the most flexibility for guests. If guests choose to transfer from the airport to resort by taxi, this can also be arranged via Dewa, costs about £ 6 each way and is paid locally.
 

Dewa Phuket beach resort is located towards the north western tip of Phuket away from the bustle of the main towns, but still providing easy access Phuket City (30 minutes away) and the west coast road that weaves its way past the islands beautiful beaches and towards the always active night life of Pattong.

Nai Yang beach (50 metres from the resort entrance) is idyllically located in a secluded bay, set amidst the Sirinath National Park, its privacy and tranquillity remains assured. Unique to Phuket, the soft golden beach gives way to the shimmering turquoise waters which are protected by a reef some few hundred meters out to sea, affording bathers the luxury of safe swimming all year round.

For avid golfers, the Blue Canyon Country Club, with its two internationally reputed championship golf courses is less than 10 minutes away. Additionally, numerous boat trips, scuba diving and snorkelling, windsurfing, and sight seeing trips can be arranged via the resort reception area.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. You will also find a dish washer. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Although the apartment is on the third floor, it is served by lifts and all parts of the resort can be accessed by the disabled. 

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a west facing balcony, sea views. If you are driving there is a garage.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming, a sports center, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, golf, scuba diving, a theatre/cinema.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find wind surfing.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: Upon arrival you are made to feel very welcome by the staff as they go through the simple check-in process accompanied with a refreshing drink. The people at Dewa are friendly and helpful, always happy to be of service and really attentive to detail.

The room was great with a fully catered kitchen area which meant that we could cook our own meals as well as dine at their restaurant (which was some of the best food we had on our honeymoon). We also enjoyed room service on a few occasions which was promptly delivered.

The room was well kitted out with two LCD TVs, a DVD player and even WiFi internet!
Air-conditioning in the apartment worked well and was on for a lot of the time. The air-con in the bedroom had a quiet mode which was great for during the night.

Location is great for the airport and for being right next to the beach. We did however feel quite far from the main areas of Phuket when it came to shopping and supermarkets. The plus side to this is that Dewa and Nai Yang felt a lot less touristy than other places on the island!

Overall, Dewa is a great resort and we'd love to go back there again as we had a very relaxing time!
