St Mary's View: A superbly located loft-convertion apartment, offering great views of St Mary's Church of the main square. Just a step from the walls of the old town, 400m to the main square, and only 5 minutes walk to Kazimierz, the old Jewish district, the location is ideal for those wanting convenience. The proximity to the centre can even be heard when, from an open window, the famous Krakow Trumpeter can be heard signalling the hour from the top of St Mary's church!



 

The apartment itself is located in a tremendous building with a 3-storey high pillared entrance, and portier. It faces away from the road, is peaceful, light and comfortable. Recently redecorated and refurbished, the apartment contains two bedrooms (one double, one single) and a bright fresh living room (with comfortable double sofa-bed) as well as a brand new kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is fully equipped for cooking, eating, sleeping or simply taking it easy. You may even relax by taking your pick from an interesting library, music and DVD collection.
From this year (2007) we are also offering FREE INTERNET CONNECTION - either wireless or plug in. And if you would prefer to use the phone rather than your computer for international calls, we also provide limited FREE INTERNATIONAL CALLS! That's as well as the free local calls that you can make at any time (useful for booking a table) .
 

The apartment is owned by Simon and Ania, an English/Polish couple and has been rented out as a family business in high season since 1999. As such we have the experience to know what our guests appreciate in a holiday let and permanently update and rennovate to acheive the most comfortable accommodation we can. We live here ourselves through most of the year and so can guarantee a truly homely atmosphere of the highest quality. Do not be fooled by such reasonable rates; we are not doing this as a huge enterprise, but to simply enable some others to enjoy Krakow at it's best. But please do not just take our word. Please note that the tenemant building does not have a lift and therefore is not suitable for the infirm or those who have difficulties with stairs.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 single. . This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment was clean, spacious, with good amenities and the welcome food pack was wonderful - especially when arriving later at night. Krakow was an interesting and wonderful place to visit and we could easily have stayed another week. The 100+ stairs to the apartment kept us fit, but might not suit everyone, however it did mean you had a great view from the rooms back over the old town."
