Ideal for three to four families, the castle has just recently had the addition of a huge 14m x 7m pool overlooking the lake which will provide everyone with hours of fun
Within the château are three luxurious apartments, each with it’s own kitchen, living room, and at least one large bathroom per bedroom. All are equipped to the highest of standards.
On the grounds of the Château stands the medieval church dedicated to Saint Martin, amid the ruins of houses that have blended with the wild limestone landscape.
 

 

 

The gite Saint Pierre has two master bedrooms, each with a large ensuite bathroom. There is also a bright kitchen and living/dining room. In the dining room, there are two French boat beds (200cm x 80cm and 160cm x 80cm). It is an ideal accommodation for two couples, a single adult plus one child. On the 11 acre property, a brand new (May 2006) 14m x 7m pool with panoramic views over the Lake of Castillon. The whole property is on a knoll and has a private access to the lake

The castle comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The castle has 2 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The castle has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only. Recreational activities available with the castle include a snooker/pool table.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The castle is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The castle is right beside swimming, walking, historic sites.

Close to the castle you will find a beach, sailing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, flying, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the castle you will find skiing/snowboarding, golf, a theatre/cinema, a food shop.

Brenda says: "The Gite was well maintained, except that the Satelite had no reception for TV. But we adored the views from our windows, simply awesome!! However it'll be helpful if there's a detailed driving instruction from the SPAR supermarket (or town centre) up to the property itself. It made things very difficult if you can't speak French and won't be able to seek directions from locals. Also, if you're driving there in the night time, you won't be able to see a thing! So specified road directions to the Gite would've been very very helpful to us."
