This immaculate, compact and well equipped 4 storey house is situated in the centre of the town of ille sur tet. The town hosts its own market twice a week Wednesday and Friday. There are local shops, bars and restaurants, one of which is Lizzie’s kitchen which we opened last year.

The house is made up of 4 storeys
Ground floor; garage, washing machine and toilet
1st floor; fully equipped kitchen with dining table and French windows looking out over the mountain and village.
Living room with a large corner sofa seating up to 6 persons, fully equipped with television with sky channels, video, DVD and hifi system.
Also a selection of games and books.
2nd floor; 2 double bedrooms both with vanity units and balconies
3rd floor; 2 single bedrooms with magnificent views
A shower room with toilet.
All the floors are joined by an original stone spiral staircase, which keeps you fit but are not suitable for the very young or elderly.
 

A traditional Catalan farming working village (particularly in peaches, apricots and grapes), full of history sitting a base of the Pyrenees. There is a tourist train that runs up through the mountains. Visit Andorra.
Locally there is villafranche the original frontier between France and Spain, and further a field there is carcassone famous for the walled city
The Spanish border and the Costa Brava is less than 1 hour away
And Barcelona 2 hours.
The meditterean sea coastline is 45 mins away with beautiful resorts such as collioure, argles sur mer, and st cyprien and canet plage.
Famous for rugby tours. Ideal for sking, fishing and golf.
 

Excellent value typical French townhouse luxuriously furnished with all mod cons, centrally located for easy access for exploring natural spas in amongst the mountains. The orgues are spectacular, though a car is essential. 

The house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 single. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use.

The house has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this house.

Pets are not welcome

The location of the house means you will hear some noise, though not excessive.

The house is right beside swimming, walking, cycling, historic sites, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the house you will find sailing, fishing, climbing, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis.

Within easy reach of the house you will find a beach, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, skiing/snowboarding, golf, a sports center, scuba diving, a museum, a theatre/cinema.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: just had a fantastic week at this property, the location was fabulous and the house was more than adaquate for our needs. its situated in a really freindly and welcoming village and we were more than made welcome by the locals. have to have a car to stay here but some amazing sights to be seen within driving distance. house was very clean and was nice to see we received a welcome package of beers and wine when we arrived especially as we were also met and introduced to the property by the owners son even though it was 3.30 in the morning when we arrived. we were also taken to the owners cafe for a morning coffee the following day and provided with plenty information on things to do during our stay. would definitely recommend this as an excellent base to stay and the standard of cleanliness was brilliant. we will most definitely be returning in the future and look forward to it. an EXCELLENT week was had by us all.
