The local train station of Lunghezza is within walking distance (5 mins away). From here catch a train to Rome Tiburtina station where there are connecting buses and metro trains. Fancy a day out? Take the train from Lunghezza station to Tivoli Terme (hot sulphorous springs) and allow yourself to be truly pampered! For those interested in archaeology, a trip to Villa Adriana is a must! The historic site of Tivoli, is well known for its coolness - a summer retreat for bygone popes and aristocracy of Rome.

A car is a must for other excursions, for example to the romantic villages of the Castelli Romani. Enjoy the spectacular views from Frascati whilst dining and sipping the famous regional wine!

Fancy a shopping spree? Visit the Roma Est shopping centre, less than 5 km away.
 

Ever fancied to experience life in the full Italian way. Here at La Villa you may do so - you are free to live autonomously in the Chalet knowing that you call on the friendly help of the owners if needed. Try your hand at pizza making in the wood stove! 

The cabin comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living Room. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

There is room for 4 in the living room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this cabin.

Pets are welcome
Dogs are welcome provided they meet EU requirements for travel abroad. 

Not suitable for wheelchairs 

The location of the cabin means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The cabin is right beside swimming.

Close to the cabin you will find fishing, flying, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, historic sites, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the cabin you will find a museum.

Hadrian's Villa, Villa d'Este, Villa Gregoriana (Tivoli), Ostia Antica.

Julia says: "What a fantastic chill out holiday. We didn't venture far as we just wanted to unwind for the 4 days that we were there. We did hire a car which we wouldn't do next time as the Italian drivers are mad. The shopping centre which is 3 miles away was fantastic. The pool/bbq area was great a lovely way to unwind. We will definately be back next year without a car and will make use of the train which is only 2 mins away. The owners were more than helpful and I can't thank them enough for all there help."
