The villa is situated in Chacras de Coria - - now a chic, rural town just ten minutes south of Mendoza's city centre, where fine traditional vineyard land abutts a second advance of top-end residences. Mendoza’s modern business elite are bringing with them an influx of fine dining establishments, art galleries, shops and the like.

Our Services

The villa is set up to offer as much or as little “service” as our guests wish. If you are independent types & enjoy doing things on your own, we respect that. If you want a hand with your adventures, our house manager can assist with organizing & booking tours & services.

- Continental breakfast is served in the house each morning at the requested time of our guests.
- Enjoy the traditional “Argentine Mate” served daily in the afternoons, as requested, and accompanied with homemade delights.
- Daily maid service at the time requested by the guests.

- Barbecue service (traditional Churrasquera/Asado) on request, cooked by our caretakers on the grill. The “Caseros” guarantee an excellent Argentine cuisine experience.

- Grocery shopping service, on request, for self-catering meals.

- Translator service, on request, to coordinate all your activities in Mendoza, or to accompany you on outings.

- Personalised arrangements so that you can visit the most renowned wineries, taste the best wines, dine in the finest Mendocino restaurants or enjoy other typical Mendoza activities.

- Gaucho Arrangements – Plan a day`s ride in the mountians or the foothills with genuine Gaucho guides, including traditional lunch cooked over an open wood fire.

Built as a city home by Mendocino aristocrats in the 1950’s, the walled estate covers nearly 7,000 square metres (~ 1.65 acres) and features gardens, an extra, extra large swimming pool, three patios, a frame gazebo, and two barbeques. Accessed through automated, remote-controlled, electronic, full security entrance gates, the grounds display kept lawns and gardens with a selection of fruit trees including fig, lemon, pomegranate, mature hardwoods, rose gardens and flowering shrubs - - including old fashioned and beautifully fragrant “Gardenia”. Swings, a climber and play set make it an excellent place for children to pass the time. The grounds and gardens that make up the great walled estate are entirely watered by an underground irrigation system, in addition to the time-honoured traditional Mendocino ‘canal’ system that brings cool Andean melt water to the property.
On the southern extreme of the property is a large quincho (traditional entertainment house). It has a well-equipped kitchen and can seat 120 people, banquet-style and is available for additional fees. Ask the House Manager for details.

The villa has 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom, with a king-size bed, has a full ensuite bathroom, and an attached dressing room that can also function as an additional bedroom for the balance of a small family.

A second bedroom with a king-size bed has a newly renovated 3-piece ensuite washroom.

The third, fourth and fifth bedrooms (one king, one double, and one with two twins) are all within a few meters of a large, newly renovated, 4-piece bathroom.

All rooms have heating, and air-conditioning.

A quincho (traditional entertainment house) is also available for weddings and special events at an extra cost. Please inquire. The villa comprises 6 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 twin, 2 single and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 double sofa beds located in the Office room and Mater Suite. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only. Recreational activities available with the villa include a snooker/pool table, table tennis.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 12 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private west facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a north facing patio area, a south facing balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside walking.

Close to the villa you will find climbing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find fishing, skiing/snowboarding.
