GLOGOSTAN is a picturesque country residence, situated in the Valley of Glogoczowka stream, surrounded by hills and green fields. The property area exceeds 2ha of land, partly fenced for security of residents, but offering the full open view on the whole garden and fields of flowers with the large private lake inside. The southern terrace, but also all rooms windows views offers an unrestricted view on the romantic fields, woods and mountains, where dear, pheasants and multiple birds can be observed . It is a very quiet and relaxing place, with clean air and water, but situated very close to the most important places of visits in the South Poland region called Malopolska. It is only 20 min drive south from the historical Royal Krakow City, but you will receive the feeling of absolute relax in the luxury residence surrounded by nature, country flagrances and birds singing. The residence is 5 min drive (3km) from the main road between Krakow and Zakopane ( highway E7), where the Glogoczow village centre offers all shopping and dining services. The variety of regional food is available till late hours in eight high standard restaurants situated on the main road in a distance up tp 10 minuts drive. Some of the nearest restaurants provide call-up delivery service.
To get there by car it takes 30 min drive from Krakow – Balice international Airport and 65 min drive from Katowice – Pyzowice Airport. You can reach the place best by car or taxi, while the public transport is available only to the village Glogoczow centre (3km away). It is recommended to rent a 4x4 car if you wish to enjoy the country roads driving around, especially in wintertime.
 

Newly reconstructed (2008) country residence consists of three buildings: (1) the main VILLA GLOGOSTAN rebuilt in place of an old country house (2) the service/garage building STODO£A rebuilt in shape of the traditional barn (3) under roof place with open walls for entertainment and wood storage in the garden. . Villa GLOGOSTAN received the certificate “sun” from the Polish Federation of Countryside Tourism, which means the high standard private country residence with four double guestrooms, valid from July 2008 to June 2012.
GLOGOSTAN offers on a ground floor the large open living and dining room with a modern kitchen annex fully equipped, a fireplace, a bar and separate toilet and bathroom. The upper floor offers a spacious hall with a unique stylish chess board with handmade wooden figures, a small library and wooden stylish chairs. From the hall you enter to the four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an additional separate toilet. The fully equipped rooms are of different size, from a very large to a small one, but each one is double, so eight person may sleep upstairs, if no additional beds are placed. The max. number of person is ten, if two person sleep in the living room downstairs, on the sofa and the single bed.
Spring water is in all taps in the house. The central heating from the fireplace is sufficient in spring/summer/autumn seasons, and the oil-based central heating system works in wintertime.

The country house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the living room downstairs, 1 double sofa bed located in the living room downstairs. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The country house has 3 bathrooms and 5 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided glassware, cooking utensils.

The country house is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a summer house, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The country house is right beside fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking.

Close to the country house you will find a beach, swimming, skiing/snowboarding, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the country house you will find climbing, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, a zoo.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: My family and I stayed at this property in July 2009 and we loved it! It is a very clean, large, well maintained and well equipped home. It certainly stood apart from some of the other accommodations we experienced in Poland. Access to the villa requires navigating some pretty narrow country roads but that only adds to the charm of the place. The home is situated 20 - 30 minutes outside of Krakow and it suited our family with young children perfectly. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable and there are multiple washrooms. There is even a washing machine to do laundry (although no dryer which can be a challenge in rainy weather!). There is a life size chess board built into the floor on the second level of the house that kept my 8 year old son occupied for hours. There is also a pond in front of the house and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. The owner is wonderful. She welcomed us to the villa and even had a snack ready and waiting for us upon our arrival. She gave us a thorough tour and ensured we had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. I would highly recommend Glogostan to anyone looking for a great oasis away from Krakows downtown hustle and bustle.
