Lovely lovingly restored traditional listed polish house in Myslenice close to krakow (30 minutes). Dont take our word for it Check our other house "the retreat and the reviews from our visitors over the last 6 years. the support you get staying at the house is second to none, this is very important. Our english speaking parents in law manage the property when we are not there and everyone has commented from our other Polish house how helpful they are should you need any help with anything. 

There is so much to do in this part of poland, most comment two weeks is not enough time and we have regular returning visitors to our properties from all over the world. Krakow with the largest square in europe, its castle, the jewish quarter are a must for a couple of days. the rafting between poland and slovakia is breathtaking and not dangerous, polish mountain men in traditional clothes punt you down river for two hours between the mountains.
the salt mine with its endless carved chambers and underground carved church and museum is everyones favourite. Zakopane with its high mountains and james bond cable car to the summit, the restaurants mountain men and summer walking or winter skiing. Aushwitz and Berken are an hour away sobering but most agree a life changing experience to visit. the local town of myslenice is very much a Polish town where you will not be charged tourist prices like Krakow. A top restaurant comes to roughly ten pounds a head for a good steak and a couple of pints or glasses of wine or of course polish vodka. You can walk back to the house in 15 minutes from the centre. 

 

Large fenced grass garden with cherry trees, apple trees large chestnut tree, Traditional listed Polish house, view from upstairs to hills. Completely renovated 08/09, New roof, new boiler and central heating, new bathrooms. Original wood flooring and stripped wooden doors all restored. lovely family home with traditional furniture. 15 minute walk to square, restaurants pubs. Ski lift 2 miles away red and blue slopes, summer walking lift to mountain 2 miles away. easy to get to krakow in 30 minutes, zakopane in 80 minutes.

The house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin. . This gives room for up to 8 people.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The house has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a south facing garden, a north facing patio area, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking.

The house is right beside a food shop.

Close to the house you will find a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the house you will find historic sites, a museum, a zoo, a themepark.

ski lift 5min 4km blue and 1km expert . mountain bike and walking ,river swimming, fishing.

Krakows Ancient city, The Salt Mine, river ,The dam and reservoire, Castles, Mountains, Aushwitz.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: a character filled house,comfortable and completely restored a short walk to the centre of myslenice where you can really enjoy a true Polish town at Polish prices but still be able to get quickly to krakow or zakopane to the main tourist sights. Bill and his wife are really helpful and great people thanks for all the local info nothing is too much trouble! The local mountain lift is really close by ྴ minutes walk from house) and 4km long to the top, great views and restaurant/pub. visit mareks pub by the river in zarabia (zlony slown) (flying elephant!) for pirogi and some live music on sundays. The salt mine is a fantastic day out as is krakow but its nice to return to the house away from the bustle and stroll back from a local night out, we went for a top dinner at the best restaurant then went out all evening to the bars and had change from twenty pounds a head! Easyjet fly to Krakow from Bristol daily (how we came) or gatwick if your in london
