Villa Helena is situated on a quiet footpath up in the Old Village of Alonissos.

Originally a mule stable, Villa Helena was renovated and extended and now offers light, airy and spacious accommodation for two, with spectacular views towards the sea and neighbouring islands.

In addition to the balcony with sea views there is also a sun terrace at the rear of the property with shaded pergola covered in pretty bougainvillea offering the perfect setting for al fresco dining. 

Villa Helena offers spacious accommodation on two levels. The first floor provides a spacious open-plan living space with kitchen area, a traditional open fire in the living area and dining room table to seat 4. To the front of the room is a balcony with views out to sea and the neighbouring islands and a secluded terrace to the rear of the house.

The ground floor offers a large airy bedroom with kingsize bed and en-suite shower room. The original thick stone walls and floor together with the hilltop breezes help to keep this room cool in the summer.

In addition to the balcony with sea views (perfect for a cool evening drink and watching the stars!) there is a private sun terrace leading from the kitchen protected by a pergola covered in pretty bougainvillea offering the perfect setting for al-fresco dining.  

For those guests that hire a car in Patitiri, parking can be found either at the bus stop near the village square (3 minute walk) or at the end of the footpath by the threshing circles (5 minute walk), Mopeds can be parked inside the gate to the house.
Villa Helena is situated in the ideal location to start many of the walks as described in the ‘alonissos on Foot’ book (which can be found in the house and also to stroll down the goat paths through the trees to several of the local bays.

Alonissos is part of the North Sporades group of islands situated in the north Aegean and is the centre of the marine park and conservation area. The island is verdant and criss-crossed by many interesting walks often through olive groves or sweet pine scented forests.
 

The villa comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 2 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a kettle. You will also find an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.
