Fronting straight onto the sea, the Altamira is a well maintained luxury 3-star aparthotel complex for those looking for extremely good accommodation in a quiet area, yet within an easy 20 minute walk of Playa de las Americas. In the other direction is the fishing village of La Caleta with several fabulous fish restaurants - a 15 minute walk away. The complex has 2 very attractive pools - one heated. The studio apartment is on the fourth floor but is just one flight of stairs below reception. Table tennis and pool are available. 

 

 

There is a separate sleeping area within the apartment containing comfortable twin beds with ceiling fan over. Bathrooms: Superbly refurbished bathroom with bath/shower over, washbasin, hair drier and wc. An automatic washing machine is located here too. Kitchen: Kitchen recently re-furbished with twin ceramic hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave oven. Living Rooms: Good sized living area with CD player and satellite TV (showing BBC1, BBC2, ITV1 and Channel 4), dining and occasional tables and attractive cane furniture - clean and in good condition. A large wall display unit adds to the storage within the apartment. Other: Balcony overlooking the sea, pool area and the attractive grounds of the complex.

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 2 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The apartment has satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the apartment include a snooker/pool table, table tennis.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a west facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the apartment you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, flying, cycling, mountain biking, golf, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, a zoo, shopping areas, a themepark.

We had a great holiday and found the appartment very accomodating and comfortable considering that there was 3 of us. The complex was lovely and the resort was fabulous. We have no complaints at all except that the weeks we would like to return next year have been sadly taken already.
I would be happy to recommend this to anyone and we have taken some fabulous photos which i will be happy to forward to anyone considering hiring your apartment.
Many thanks again and I sincerely hope that we will have the opportunity to use it again in the future.
