We purchased our villa based in Torba due to the tranquility of its location but also because it is a very short distance to the hustle and bustle of resort life. We have 2 young children and Torba is only 25 minutes drive from Bodrum airport so transfer times are very simple.

The villa sleeps up to 10 and has 4 bedrooms (3 with twin beds) one with a Queensize double bed, and 3 bathrooms, 2 ensuite. The villa is directly poolside and is set on 3 floors with the most stunning of views.



Torba is a beautiful Mediterranean style fishing village set in a tranquil location on the Bodrum Peninsular and only 5km away from the hustle and bustle of Bodrum town centre.

Torba consists of a small but ample selection on good bars and restaurants, with some of Turkey’s best hotels. The reputation amongst the Turkish people is that Torba is where the rich and famous Turks live.

The harbour is where all the main activity takes place and a small beach runs along the whole length of Torba Bay and is free to use. You can use the bigger beaches by the hotels but a charge may be made.

Torba Bay is a quiet fishing village on the Bodrum Peninsular where the rich and famous turks like to live. 5km away is Bodrum which has every amenity you could possibly desire and can be reached by the brilliant bus service that runs every 5 minutes or by taxi.

We are situated on a small plot of 7 detached villas with stunning sea views and only a five minute walk into the fishing village that has a good range of bars, restaurants and shops.

The beach is located all along the village and stretches to a beautiful small harbour which makes for lovely relaxing walks on the way to dinner.

The propert was built to very high standards and we had a good imput on the build which has made the property very important to us.

We treat this very much as our second home which reflects in the furnishings and would hope you feel the same when you arrive.

Car hire is not essential but will allow you to explore the beautiful Bodrum Peninsular with all its beaches and other hidden treasure.
 

The villa was built in May 2005 and is one of 7 identical villa’s built on the plot and are all privately owned and furnished to each individuals taste. As we will be using our villa on a regular basis and we have furnished our property to the highest possible standards with all the mod cons you would expect to find at home and more.

Our villa is directly poolside and has English and foreign satellite television in the lounge and 2 of the bedrooms, we also have a DVD player that plays CD’s and Kodak discs. The lounge and dining area and all bedrooms have air-conditioning and the lounge can be adjusted to heat the property as well. We have a microwave oven, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster as well as much more which should add to your comfort.

There is a huge terrace / balcony for al fresco dining and on the ground floor we have a lovely enclosed garden that leads directly onto the swimming pool.


IMPORTANT: The prices are based on 4 adults sharing and please note that a supplement of £25 per person per week will be added to parties containing more than 4 adults (see below) in the months of June, July, August and September. Children under 16 are not affected.
 

Turn left from our bottom gate and two minutes walk on the left is a small supermarket and excellent restaurant. You will find all your basics there.

Carry on further for another 5 minutes and you will enter the fishing village where you will see many more restaurants and shops. You can also catch a taxi here if you wish to explore and car hire is available from a couple of shops and the hotels.

There is also an internet cafe and hairdressers opposite the Club Voyage Hotel which is the first hotel you arrive at.

At the top gate and on the main road turn left and about 10 minutes down on the left hand side is a major supermarket where you will find everything you need.

On the main road you can also wave down one of the buses that will take you into Bodrum and when you come home just ask for the Torba Buses and you will be directed to one. We think they are great and cost around 60p per person and will stop outside of the entrance to the villas if you tell the driver in time.  

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 3 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking villa

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, mountain biking, tennis, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find horse riding, a themepark.

I can't thank you enough - the villa was absolutely gorgeous, even better than we expected! And such a great location, Torba was lovely and Bodrum was such an interesting place - so many characters! I couldn't believe how friendly the Turkish people are

Anyway, if I know anyone considering Turkey I will have no hesitation recommending your villa, it really was brilliant.
