This beautifully furnished 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom villa, is only 2 minutes walk to the supermarket and only 10 minutes flat walk from the 3 stunning white sandy beaches, the old spanish square, promenade and marina of Torre de la Horadada. It’s patio, balcony and large solarium with sea view; affords relaxing sunbathing and alfresco dining, with a lovely communal pool for cooling down.

Torre de la Horadada is a small town with excellent facilities in an absolutely gorgeous setting. Its wise council has refused to allow any high buildings, and created parks and play areas meaning the town has retained its Spanish character and beautiful surroundings. The old town square, next to a very unusually shaped church affords eating & drinking while watching the world go by. There is a good blend of resident Spanish and English people along with some holidaymakers, making this a very friendly place. It has 3 good size supermarkets, chemist, cash point, shops, and many ice cream parlours, restaurants and tapas bars.

It is the beaches we fell in love with at Torre de la Horadada, with their exquisite white sand and clear blue sea, they boast the blue flag accreditation. Two beaches are small and cove shaped, with spring flowers lining the low cliff, and an island in the distance on the horizon. Playa de los Jesuitas is next to the ancient tower after which Torre de la Horadada was named. You can sit outside a restaurant/ bar (there is an amazing ice cream parlour!), on the palm tree lined promenade and enjoy great views of the marina and of the third beach whose white sand stretches for several miles.
 

The property is two years old and has just been newly furnished. The ground floor comprises of a superbly equipped kitchen, including the necessary dishwasher and washing machine. An American style bar opens onto the beautifully furnished open plan dinning room and lounge, both of which seat six. The lounge is well equipped with a television, with SKY package including children's channels, DVD/ Video, a Music System with Radio and CD Player and an ipod docking station.

There are three bedrooms two of double size specification, and two bathrooms. On the first floor; the master bedroom contains a luxurious king size double bed and the other has twin beds, either would easily accomodate a baby cot. Both rooms boast patio doors opening onto a balcony and both have fitted wardrobes finished in light oak. The adjacent main bathroom comprising of bath and shower unit, services both bedrooms.

The third smaller bedroom is on the ground floor, it has an adjacent bathroom with a shower. It contains a guest bed for added flexibility which can be; a single bed, pull out to 2 single beds - either both the same height or one of which can be lower- ideal if you have a young child.

Casa Olivia benefits from ceiling fans and Air Conditioning, and enjoys heating which can come in handy in Winter evenings.

We have provided a selection of DVDs, CDs, Videos and books are provided for you to use. There are also games, toys for young children, as well as pool inflatables and beach toys for your familiy's enjoyment.

Outside; There is parking on the drive - a car is not essential for your holiday though, as the beaches and facilities are all in walking distance and we can arrange for you to be personally met at the airport if you prefer. There is also parking outside the grounds if you prefer to keep the titled and enclosed driveway free as an extra play area for young children.

Chairs and tables have been provided both on the downstairs patio and on the fabulous rooftop solarium. You can also make the most of this elevated suntrap by relaxing on the sun loungers provided and enjoy the privacy afforded by the above waist height walls.
 

To the right the views are of the curved swimming pool, beyond which you can see the old town and the sparkling blue sea. To the left you can fields and new orange groves have been recently planted.

Located in a pedestrian area, car access is only for villa residents, making this a safe area for children to play. It is a quiet and friendly area.

There is easy access to the main coastal road and the motorway from Torre de la Horadada, making travelling simple and short. Within 15 minutes you can visit large bustling towns on the Mar Menor; Los Alcazares, Santiago de la Ribera or the more touristy towns of Orihuela Beach and Cabo Roig. There is also a good bus network.

GOLF: located on the edge of the Costa Blanca and Murcia (planned to be the golfing capital of Spain) this really is golfers paradise! Within 10 mins of the villa you can enjoy Villa Martin Golf course, Las Ramblas and Real Club CampoAmor, with the prestigious La Manga golfing resort and world class restaurants only 25 minutes drive away.

For cooling down and relaxing close to home, the large curved swimming pool and round shallow toddler pool is only 30 meters from the villa, and is set in a paved and grass area, perfect for sunbathing. The pool complex is completely enclosed, making it perfect for young children and is gated with key access for residents only.

Casa Olivia has many areas for enjoying an alfresco meal, drink or enjoying the sun. There is a patio at the front of the villa adorned with flower pots and both bedrooms on the 1st floor have patio doors which open out onto a good size balcony. There is a massive rooftop solarium (30 square meters!) which is perfect for peacefully relaxing on the sun beds, cooking on the BBQ, dining and sipping sangrias.

Our key holders are live just around the corner they are very friendly and are happy to assist with any queries during your stay. We have provided information in Casa Olivia about good places to visit to sightsee, shop and recommend some wonderful places to eat. There are some board games, small toy cars, books, videos, dvds, beach toys and large pool inflatables for the children to enjoy. The house is exceptionally baby and child friendly. There is a roller stairgate on the landing to prevent access to any stairs and a door from the lounge and stairs prevents access upstairs. There are no low ornaments of wires to worry about and there is a door to the kitchen. Steritiser, cot & highchair can be hired. Everything has been provided for you to enjoy your meals and that glass of wine outside, there are patio chairs and tables on the downstairs patio, and also on the solarium where you can also enjoy barbequeing your dinner.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 7 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Joanne says: "We had a great holiday at Casa Olivia. It is furnished to a very high standard and staying there with 3 children all under the age of 2years it is very child friendly and very safe. Including the kids there were 7 of us in the villa and we found there to be plenty of space. The pool area is very nice and clean and having the toddler pool was a big bonus. The pool is very close to the villa, you can see it from the terrace. The town is about a 20 min stroll away but there are a couple of bars/restaurants closer. We really liked it at Pueblo Latino, very nice safe atmosphere. There are some lovely restaurants there, we enjoyed an Italian called Plaza. Down near the harbour there are some great ice cream parlours, Iv never seen or tasted ice cream like it, delicious. Casa Olivia is in a residential area and Torre de la Horadada is very Spanish although we didnt have any trouble ordering meals, etc. We will definately return to Casa Olivia in the future and would recommend it to anyone.
