Our villa has been furnished to the highest standard, sleeps 6 (including 2 on sofa bed) and provides everything you will need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.The resort is located in the Murcia Region of southeast Spain & 10 minutes from the Mar Menor's crystal clear sea lagoon and the beaches and marinas of Los Alcazares, Santiago de la Rivera and Cabo de Palos. The Mar Menor Golf Resort is built around a 9 hole (soon to be 18), David Thomas designed, golf course. At the centre of the resort is a social complex, including a luxury 5 star 60 room hotel complete with Fitness Centre and spa, heated swimming pools, restaurants, shops and bars. Palm and orange tree lined walkways provide easy access to the resorts many facilities.

The resort has a relaxed feel to it, whilst providing everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. And with the beautiful Mar Menor lagoon only 7km away and Murcia, San Javier airport 8km away the resort is the ideal location. Alicante airport is only an hours drive.

 

The towns of Cartegena and Murcia are a short drive away and have many historical sites to visit.

The Mar Menor sea is four degrees warmer than the nearby Mediterranean sea. It is also a very shallow sea and therefore an ideal place to take children swimming or for adults to learn a new water sport. Some of the best diving in Europe is to be experienced off Cabo de Palos; some of the best climbing is only an hour away in the glorious national park of the Sierra Espuña. With wonderful historic towns like Lorca and Cartagena and pedestrian-only, shop-lined lanes in the town of Murcia which lead into one enticing café-lined square after another, each with its own architectural gem, whether it's the imposing 15th-century cathedral or the impressively ornate Church of San Juan de Dios. And there are colourful local festivals galore, even in the smallest of villages. In this most Catholic of regions, there seems to be a saint's day to make it fiesta time somewhere almost every week.
 

Apart from the on-site golf, there are many additional championship courses within an hours drive. Courses within half an hour include Campo de Golf Villamartin (15 mins drive), La Manga Club (15 mins drive), Golf Torrepachero (9 hole course) & Club de golf las Ramblas de Orihuela. 

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television satellite/cable. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a north facing patio area, a south facing balcony. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, golf, tennis, a sports center.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, water skiing, boat hire, fishing, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find wind surfing, walking, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a themepark.

Use of various other golf courses in the area.
