The villa provides lovely accomodation for up to six people and can be found in a quiet area, near Rojales. This is only a few minutes drive from fantastic beaches at Guardamar. The villa is laid out on one floor, although steps down from the road make it unsuitable for infirm guests. The villa is beautifully situated so that there are great views over La Marquesa golf course, and being sited as it is means that it very quiet and extremely restful... exactly what a holiday should be. The solarium offers sun worshippers the chance to really work on the tan, whilst the cooler courtyard provides a great choice for breakfasting. Inside we have provided a cdplayer withradio, together with a TV and satellite, hooked up to all the major TV channels including BBC1 ITV and Sky Sports/Movies. The villa is family owned and we use it as our family holiday location.

Rojales is a typical Spanish town with narrow steets, a lively market and a laid back atmosphere. Torrevieja and Alicante are certainly more cosmopolitan (15-30mins drive respectively)whilst Benidorm is only an hour away with the Terramitica theme park. Valencia is around two hours away by car and is a superb city to visit. We strongly suggest car-hire in order to obtain the best from your stay.

Although the area is quiet there are a number of top quality restaurants within easy walking disatance. Within a short drive (around 10 minutes) there is a great and varied selection of restaurants, not least of which are some superb local tapas bars. Dont be afraid go and try them! Food features highly and the local markets provide a great atmosphere and experiences. Of course, those with families will love the communal pool only 50m away, and in nearby Quesda is an excellent water park. The beaches at Guardamar are stunning and stretch for miles (or kilometres!) The sands slope gently into the sparkling waters of the Med so are great for children. One thing to see are the amazing sand sculpture at Playa Centro at Guardamar. There are a number of watersports available in Guardamar, with a greater choice at Torrevieja about 20 minutes away. This includes water skiing, and scuba diving. There is a dive school which operates from Quesada.

The area is steeped in history. Elche and Alicante encompass this beatifully with historical architecture and great sights, both within a 30 min drive. To the south, is the stunning city of Murcia whilst on the coast cabn be found trhe famous Cartegena. Guradamar itself also boast a large castle the area has been fought over for centuries by teh Romans, Moors & Christians all leaving their stamp in many places. The conflicst are rememembered with spectacular parades and ceremonies, usually around July, which are the focus for family celebrations... They really are amazing. 

The villa is only a 5minute walk away from the club house at La Marquesa Golf. This is a lovely course set in two valleys which come together in the form of a Y. There are plenty of "19th holes" to choose from around the edges of the course! Within a short drive are a further four amazing courses and the best is probably the nearest. La Finca at nearby Almoradi is quite spectacular and offers the chance to play on a top quality course. It is part of the Villamartin group with the other two courses being found south of Torrevieja, namely Villamartin and Las Ramblas. Very close to these is Real Club de Campoamar. To the north is Montefore del Cid and another great course at Alicante designed by Severiano Ballesteros. The golfer is not short of places to play and all are of a good standard. 

With a garden area at the front, courtyard to shelter from the sun, and a fantastic rooftop solarium to work on your tan, there is masses of outdoor space to enjoy the property to the full. We have provided useful items for the family beach holiday including a beach tent with high UV, buckets, spades, footballs and other beach toys, together with a cool bag for snacks and drinks on the beach or day trip. All bed linen is provided, but we request you bring your own towels. Accomodation is based on two twin rooms and a double bed-settee.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 twin. . This gives room for up to 6 people.

The villa has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Water park about 20 minutes drive away in Quesada, value for money and a great day out. Beautiful beach not far away (Guardamar - just perfect). You must have a car to get around and see Spain, what a fantastic place. Fantastic park with lake at Guardamar, great for kids, market on everynight. Local markets on daily, regular one in Rojales just down road from Villa. Villa is great for a day in with a massive solarium for sunbathing and bbq for evening meal! The Villa has everything you need. Can totally recommend both Villa and area for a fantastic holiday."
