We took possession of this newly built apartment in 2004 and use it regularly as a holiday home for family and friends and fell in love with the quaint little village and the feeling of home from home we experienced from the tranquillity and peacefulness of the area. When you enter the apartment there is a real feeling of escape from the outside world and leaving behind all the stress and worry of everyday life. The apartment has a double bedroom suitable for two people, It also has a bed settee in the lounge which also sleeps two and a single fold out bed suitable for a child. It has a spacious open plan lounge/dining area and a very spacious fully fitted kitchen. There is also a large shower room. It has its own large roof top solarium and this offers spectacular views of Torrevieja and surrounding landscapes and is perfect for day time sunbathing or enjoying a cool drink in the evening while you watch the sun setting over the Costa Blanca mountains. Also ideal for enjoying an evening barbeque. The rooms are fitted with ceiling fans to make your stay at San Miguel more comfortable. All meals can be cooked in the kitchen which is fitted with a full sized cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. It also has a washing machine and iron and ironing board. 

Torrevieja beach is 10 minutes drive away. The beach has soft white sand and has lots of beach bars and restaurants overlooking the Meditteranean and the isle of Tabarca, said to be frequented by pirates in ancient times. Costa Blanca beaches have a good record, with over 30 of them having been awarded EU 2 Blue Flag standards for safety and amenities. 

The pretty town of Torrevieja is only ten minutes drive away with its traditional Spanish shops, Aguapolis water park open during July and August.
Benidorm is 1 hour drive awqay and boasts the famous theme park TERRA MITICA reputed to rival Euro Disney. It also has a large water park. You can also go on a Jeep Safari, wander around the Old Town, or visit Benidorm Palace. There are FREE BUS TOURS available to different areas of interest almost every day of the week. There are 3 GOLF COURSES within 10 minutes drive of San Miguel where the man can play golf while the women can relex by the swimming pool and enjoy the beautiful tranquil surroundings.
San Miguel is not short of distractions and you will never be bored, however it is also a haven of tranquillity which allows you to relax and recharge the batteries. You will return home from your holiday in San Miguel relaxed, and invigorated, and already looking forward to returning next year.
