Casa Rosanna was purchased by us for its wonderful peaceful rural location and its excellent elevated position offering some of the best vistas of the southern Costa Blanca.
When you leave the motorway (coveniently just 4 minutes from Casa Rosanna) heading towards Los Montesinos you are greeted by the heady perfume of orange blossom.The oranges and lemons hang over the road edge and are with you all the way up the hill to Casa Rosanna. There are acres and acres of orange and lemon groves in this part of the region.
When you reach the top of the hill where Casa Rosanna is located the scenic views will take your breath away. To the west and north the land drops away down a huge valley towards the mountains. La Finca Golf is nestled in this valley with the magnificent mountain range as a backdrop. To the east and south the Spanish countryside rolls away down the hillside with 'The Castle of Montemar' prominent in the foreground and beyond that you can see the Salt Lakes and the Coast of Torrevieja.
There are two local towns within 5 minutes, Algorfa and Los Montesinos which are very Spanish with market days and plazas, small supermarkets, local bars and restaurants.
For the 'Big shop' superstores Carrefour and Lidls are just 10 minutes away on the drive into Torrevieja. 

Casa Rosanna is a modern home built to a traditional Spanish/Moorish design with internal beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls.
The ground floor consists of an 'L shaped lounge/living area' and has dual aspect windows with views of 'The Castle' there is a separate large modern eating kitchen, the dining table is sited in a bay window with views across the countryside. We also have a twin bedroom and separate shower and toilet downstairs (ideal for elderly guests). There is an elevated terrace/porch from the lounge. Lovely views.
From the lounge area the stairs lead to the first floor with the master double bedroom and bay window looking out over the rolling countryside to the side of the house. The second twin bedroom has views to the rear of the house of the mountains.There is a family bathroom on this floor with bath/shower,toilet and bidet. A large terrace with table and seating for six provides 'al fresco' dining with superb views over the salt lake and down towards the coast.
Finally the internal staircase leads up to the roof solarium where the sun worshippers can indulge themselves on the sun loungers (outside cold shower fitted to keep you cool)or simply take in the magnificent 360 degree views.
Traditional ceramic floor tiling throughout and ceiling fans fitted in the lounge and bedrooms will help you to keep cool!
Outside there is a gated front garden with side access to the rear walled garden which has a patio area.We have planted some 70 pencil conifers along the rear garden and side garden boundaries. Making it totally secure for children to play in.
For your personal security and childrens safety Casa Rosanna has decorative external grills fitted to all windows and doors plus a comprehensive alarm system.
 

The Costa Blanca means 'white coast' due to its fine white sandy beaches many of which are awarded the 'European Blue Flag.' This coupled with an average 320 days a year of sunshine makes this an ideal holiday destination.
Due to the health giving properties of the Salt Lakes combining with the climate, the World Health Organisation rates this area as one of the healthiest places in the world to live.Visit the lakes and bathe in the 'mud' as the locals do, its free!
For nightlife Torrevieja has it all with its casinos, clubs, restaurants and bars and during the day there are excellent shops and a bustling port which has a 'Hippy Market' and a Fun Fair.
If you are a golfer there are several championship golf courses local to Casa Rosanna. 'La Finca' the newest and arguably the best on the Costa Blanca is literally across the road.This is a future Spanish Open and Ryder Cup venue. Other courses such as Villamartin, Campomoar and Las Ramblas are all within a 10/15 minutes drive.
If you prefer cultural/historic visits there are plenty of palaces, cathedrals, museums, monasterys and art galleries to visit in towns and cities such as Murcia, Cartagena, Orihuela and Alicante.
Or why not just enjoy the house the views and local facilities.The communal pool has a feature fountain and a toddlers area and can be seen from the solarium so why not relax while your children play. A 5 minute walk away is the 'Club de Tenis' with excellent floodlit courts, outdoor pools, gymnasium etc. The club has a bar and restaurant with the 'menu of the day' for about £5 for 3 courses with wine and coffee. La Finca Golf has an excellent 19th tee with a terraced bar and restaurant.
On Sunday morning the biggest and arguably the best market in the area is a stones throw from Casa Rosanna.Typically Spanish you will find everything and more here.
 

Our 'Place in the Sun' is built to a very high standard with a very moorish influence externally and a rustic charm with beamed ceilings and stone walls internally. It is situated high up on a hillside amongst the orange and lemon groves which are typical of the area. Due to our elevated position we have panoramic views from the roof solarium of mountain ranges to the West and North and the Salt Lakes and Coastal views to the East and South. The first floor terrace and front porch boast unobstructed views to the front and side of our property of the rolling Spanish countryside leading down to the 'Castle of Montemar' and beyond that the Salt lake and coast.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use.

The house has television dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared south facing swimming pool, a west facing garden, a east facing patio area, a east facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The house is right beside swimming, golf.

Close to the house you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the house you will find historic sites, a museum, a zoo.
