Villa Anne is my dream in Spain - Built in 2003 the property is a 2 bedroom house in the newly developed area of Las Filipinas. My house is in a development of 40 similar houses with a private swimming pool for the exclusive use of residents only. The pool is just a minutes stoll along the path outside the house.
The property has lounge/dining room with terrace, fully fitted kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, large roof top solarium, double bedroom with terrace, twin bedroom with terrace, garage, tiled garden terrace ideal for BBQ's and communal pool.
 

Within 2 minutes walk away is a newly built commercial area featuring bars, restaurants and shops including an internet cafe. There is also a small supermarket which stocks all the necessitites. A newly built super mercadonna is within 5-10 minutes walk. Or for a fun experience visit Carrefour. A visit to the markets is a must - fresh fruit and vegetables in abundance and anything else you can think of! My favourite is at Playa Flamenca on Saturday mornings.
Also within walking distance of the property there are a few local bars which also serve food: Wolfies (which is very popular), Chinese restaurant next to Wolfies, which serves excellent food and is not too expensive, Cheers Bar, Eagles Nest (Bowling Club), Anita's and the Grove Bar.
Further afield is Los Dolces Commercial area which also has a variety of bars and restaurants.
Then there is Villamartin Plazza, a 5 minute drive away. Here is a great place to spend an evening. It has an excellent variety of eating places including Indian, Mexican, Chinese, Hungarian, Italian and British. It also has a variety of pubs (Irish, Sports, Karaoke etc) which provide nightly entertainment. It also has discos and bowling alley. The plazza is very lively in peak season.
Torrevieja town is also a good alternative. 

If you have a game of golf in mind then this is the ideal location. Within 5 minutes drive is Villamartin, Campoamar and Las Ramblas golf courses. 15 minutes drive away is the stunning new course at La Finca. And La Manga golf course at Mar Menor is less than an hours drive away.

Villamartin golf course was built in the early 70's and hosted the Meditertanean Open in 1994. It is one of the best courses in Spain. It also has tennis facilities and a swimming pool. The Clubhouse Bar and Restaurant is also open to non-golfers.

The course at Campoamar is set in two scenic valleys with the newly built and immaculate clubhouse at the highest point, with glorious views of the Mediterranean. The front 9 holes aare deceptively open with fast, protected greens contrasting with the back 9 winding through steep-sided hills creating a challenge to the end.

Las Ramblas is a stunning shorter course, designed by Jose Grancedo. Las Ramblas, meaning old river beds, provides high tees, narrow fairways, between pine trees, raviners and over 'branches' for a test of accuracy at each hole.

All clubs offer a number of facilities including Club House, Pro Shops, Restaurants, Bar, Swimming Pools, Buggy and Club Hire. In all clubs there are schools with fully qualified instructors to teach you how to play golf as well as practice areas.
 

Both the bedrooms and the lounge have adjustable ceiling fans. This is in addition to the air conditioning. There are shutters and security grills on all the windows and security grills on the front door. The satellite television receives all the English channels (ITV, BBC1, BBC2, CH4 and CH5) plus a selection of sky channels including Sky Sports 1 & 2. Appliances include hairdryer, iron, ironing board, kettle and toaster. Sun loungers are provided and there are beach chairs. Bed linen and towels are provided BUT please provide your own towels for the beach and the pool.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking villa

The location of the villa means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a patio area, a balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, fishing, walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, scuba diving, historic sites, a theatre/cinema.
