Ideally situated by the lovely blue flag bay of Los Locos and pedestrianised promenade of Torrevieja. 15 minutes drive to 3 championship golf courses.

Our privately owned holiday apartment is new completed 2005 in the Orbi Playa complex. Our apartment is on the first floor which is pool level and you can consider it as ground level and has direct access to the residents – only seasonal pools and large sunbathing area situated in the private inner courtyard. The complex is made up of two blocks; our apartment is in the front block. There are two lifts in each block and ramps throughout the communal areas, so this is a wheelchair friendly complex. Other apartments are available making it an ideal location for larger families or groups.

Also it benefits from being just 5 meters from the beach. You can enjoy a stroll along the newly constructed pedestrianised promenade into Torrevieja town center. Close by you will find bars, cafes, fishmongers, bakery, butchers and a small supermarket.

There is a bus stop at the front of the building and the 5 min ride runs into town every 15 minutes.
 

Torrevieja is a medium sized cosmopolitan town with beautiful promenades, parks, pavement cafes, daily craft market, marina with a newly constructed harbour jetty which takes approx 20 mins to walk to the end and you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town. Also there is plenty of nightlife to party away until the early hours.

There are many family attractions in Torrevieja and surrounding areas. There is a sports complex 5 minutes walk away with heated indoor pool, gym, sauna and jacuzzi. Water park 15 minutes walk also activities including water sports, horse riding, scuba diving, go-karting to name just a few. Friday is Torrevieja market day with over 1,000 stalls.
 

You will find by car (10- 30 min) various other beaches and small coves. Also Gaurdamar (20 min) a small village by the side of the National Park of pine forest and sand dunes. There is a typical Spanish market here every Wednesday.

If you prefer to travel around on your holidays you will not be disappointed. Go inland and you will find the fabulous mountains and breathtaking scenery, stop off on your travels and sample some of the locally produced village wines & cuisine. In the old towns of Orihuela, Elche and Murcia you will find fine architecture & museums.
Just 1 hour up the motorway is Benidorm with the attractions of Terra Mitica (theme park) Aqualandia (water park) Mundo Mar and Benidorm Palace (cabaret/show palace). There is a bus service and daily excursions to all these attractions, which you can take from Torrevieja.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the Lounge, 1 double sofa bed located in the Lounge. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The property is a new build and had to confirm to building regulations regarding disabled access. Therefore the whole building is wheelchair friendly having lifts and ramps in all communal areas. The access doors to the apartments are extra wide at 77.5cm the bathroom and bedroom doors being 67.5cm. My apartment has no special grab rails or adaptations to the bathroom and has a standard suite comprising of toilet; wash basin and shower over bath, the sizes of the bathroom and bedroom are large with enough room to maneuver a wheelchair. 

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a patio area.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming, cycling.

Close to the apartment you will find sailing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, a sports center, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find walking, horse riding, golf, tennis, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, a themepark.
