This newly built quatro style villa is located in the Aguas Nuevas area on the outskirts of Torrevieja.
The property has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living / dining room and diner style kitchen. There is a balcony off the master bedroom, and the front garden is fully tiled, with a BBQ area - ideal for relaxing in the evening sun. Guests also have access to the communal swimming pool.

Situated in the southern Costa Blanca, Torrevieja is located around 40km south of Alicante. The town is surrounded by huge salt lakes which, in combination with the mountain ranges protecting the town give the town a unique micro-climate which has led to the World Health Organisation describing Torrevieja as one of the healthiest places in the world to live.

The villa itself is well situated for local amenities. There is a large commercial centre close to the site, with two supermarkets, a newsagent, car rental and garage and a number of cafes and bars. A similar distance in the opposite direction lies the water park, and newly developed sports centre, with its olympic sized swimming pool and daily programme of events and fitness classes.

A further ten minute walk away is the new Habaneras shopping arcade featuring a number of well known shopping labels, as well as the O-Zone centre with its casino, cinema and bowling alleys and a wide variety of restaurants and bars.

Torrevieja centre, which can be reached on foot or by public transport is a bustling town with a long history. Visit the Modernist Casino on the sea front, the church of the Immaculada Concepcion, or walk down to the quayside and take the new walkway out over the sea.
After dusk, the seafront comes alive as cars are banned, and people stroll along the promenade or sit outside one of the many bars and cafes.
During the summer months, an evening market and kids funfair add to the atmosphere of the area.
 

Torrevieja has more than 300 days of sunshine a year, making it a popular all year destination for sun lovers. The climate is officially temperate continental with average temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees.

Located between the salt lakes and the golden sandy beaches of La Mata, the villa is ideally placed to explore the region, or just for working on a tan.

The salt lakes which can be seen from the villa are designated as national parks, and the visitors centre half a mile away is the start point for a number of nature trails and walks.

Within a mile of the villa is the glorious sandy beach of La Mata. La Mata is the largest of six local beaches, stretching north for over 2 km, with a newly built promenade providing access to various cafes and restaurants to satisfy any taste. Sunbeds and shades can be hired daily.
Both La Mata and neighbouring Guardemar beaches regularly win Blue Flag awards for their cleanliness, safety and facilities.

For those looking to explore the region, the historic towns of Alicante and Elche to the North, and Cartagena and Murcia to the South are well worth a visit. Alternatively, take a trip to Benidorm, about an hours drive north and home to Terra Mitica, the largest theme park in Spain.

The area has a number of local markets where you can browse for bargains, or souvenirs, including the Friday morning Arab style market in Torrevieja, one of the largest in Spain.
 

Golfers flock to the Costa Brava every year, taking advantage of the 15 top quality courses in the area, a number of which are within half an hours drive of the villa.
The closest is Villamartin, the oldest course on the Costa Blanca. An ex-Mediterranean Open venue, the course provides a test for golfers of all abilities.
Around five minutes further south is the tricky Las Ramblas course, shorter but more challenging than Villamartin. Campoamor course is near Las Ramblas, and is a longer course with wider fairways making for an enjoyable round of golf.
Also in the region are the courses of La Marquesa, and the newest course in the region at La Finca.

All courses offer club and buggy hire and can be booked in advance from the UK. Handicap certificates will be required.

For those seeking wider sporting facilities, or a sterner golfing challenge, the world famous resort of La Manga is located around forty minutes south of the villa. Set in 1500 acres, the centre includes three world class golf courses, one of the best tennis centres in Europe, and marvellous water sports, spas and health centres.

You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

suzan says: "Nice spacious villa. Very clean and well maintained. Easy reach to supermarket, cafes and great local pub. Locals friendly and made us welcome. Good value for money and description accurate accept entertainment. We were very disappointed to find no satellite TV after our arrival. There had been problems across Spain with the british satellite system, but this problem had been commonly known for several weeks. Holiday booked last minute and we really should have been informed so we could bring some form of entertainment such as a CD or DVD player. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and if there was entertainment I would definately wish to return. Sunloungers would also have been nice when sitting in the patio."
