The house is situated midway between Alicante and Torrevieja – about a 25 minute drive from each. It is easily reached from both Alicante and Murcia airports. Valencia is another possibility – but you will need to allow 2 ½ hours for the drive.

The house is just 4 years old and in excellent condition. It is air conditioned and equipped with satelite TV.
It has 3 bedrooms – one double and two twin rooms.

There is a shower room on the ground floor and a bathroom on the first floor. The kitchen comes well equipped with Cooker, Microwave, Washine Machine, Fridge, Iron, toaster etc.

There is a very large roof terrace equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs and barbeque.

There is a shopping mall about a 100 yards from the house and this includes a supermarket, banks, Tourist Information office, newsagent, several bars, a pizzeria, an Indian restaurant and an excellent (and very cheap) Chinese restaurant. Therefore no shortage of places to go in the evenings should you not want to drive!
 

There are numerous beaches nearby. The closest is La Marina and this is just 10 minutes away (by car). La Marina is recognised as one of the best beaches in the area – it is unspoilt and very popular with the locals. It has a beach bar – but little else. If you are looking for somewhere with more life, there are a number of resorts – like Santa Pola and Guardamar – nearby. These resorts are livelier – but certainly not in the Benidorm league!

Places to see – Just a few places that are well worth a visit.

Alicante is a must! It has a large shopping centre, an historic ‘old’ town with castle and a lovely harbourside. The marina at night is well worth a visit – lots of very nice restaurants!

Torrevieja – a smaller, quieter version of Alicante - but still very nice. There is a ‘craft fair’ on the waterfront at most times.

Elche – a bustling and prosperous city with an historic old centre.

For those who are happy to look further afield, Benidorm (and the Terra Mitica theme park) is an hour away by car – and Valencia approximately 100 miles away. For further information and other ideas, I would suggest a visit to the Costa Blanca Tourist Board website (www. Costablanca.org/eng/).
 

Transport between the airport and the house can be arranged if required – but I would highly recommend the hire of a car. A bus service does run (Monday to Saturday) between the Urbanizacion and La Marina, Elche, Guardamar and Torrevieja. Timetables can be picked up from the local Tourist Information office if required

Hire of a small car (e.g. Ford Ka) is likely to cost from £85 per week (low season) to £120 per week (high season). Cost will obviously vary by car size and hire period.  

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool.

The house has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking house

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The house is right beside swimming, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the house you will find a beach, cycling.

Within easy reach of the house you will find golf, a theatre/cinema.
