Sunset Valley Estate is located between the sleepy fishing villages of Castara & Parlatuvier on the Caribbean coast of Tobago. This area is considered the most tranquil and loveliest on the island. Sunset Valley rests on a ridge overlooking picturesque Englishman’s Bay and is surrounded by three acres of lush, manicured gardens and orchards. The panoramas from the villa’s huge wrap-around veranda are truly breathtaking...the crystal blue turquoise of the Caribbean in the front and the lush, deep greens of the rain forest in the rear...the views are unforgettable.  

Sunset Valley can accommodate up to eight people in its three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have both full and twin beds with ensuite bath. The third bedroom has two twin beds and there are two full-sized futon beds in the spacious great room. The kitchen and laundry room are fully equipped and feature all new, modern appliances. The dining area and great room are both large enough to comfortably accommodate a family or group of eight. There are three bathrooms. All of the villa’s rooms have ceiling fans and all open onto the cool veranda and its wonderful views. All linen, as well as a daily maid service, is provided. There is satellite TV, a VCR, DVD, and a CD player for your entertainment with a large library of movies and music from which to choose. We also have plenty of board games and books available for our guests. Outside, a lovely array of flowers and shrubs surround the villa’s refreshing pool (15’ x 35’). There is also a large assortment of chairs and lounges for your relaxation, as well as an outdoor shower for your convenience. There are two over-sized hammocks in the cool shade of the veranda from which you can enjoy the wonderful views from the estate and the delightful songs of our many feathered friends. The views are simply indescribable.
 

Three of Tobago’s best beaches are within ten minutes of the estate. The best of these, Englishman’s Bay, is just down the hill. CondeNast travel magazine recently named Englishman’s Bay as one of the world’s best beaches. Englishman’s Bay is truly picture postcard perfect...uncrowded, unspoiled, and undeniably lovely. Englishman’s Bay also offers a nice selection of coral and fish for snorkeling (yes, we have snorkel gear for your use). Castara and Parlatuvier also offer excellent bathing and are very close. Some of Tobago’s best bird watching and hiking can be found in Sunset Valley’s immediate area. The scenery is wonderful and the wildlife in and around the estate is remarkable. Other activities, such as golf, sailing, diving, or sport fishing are a reasonable drive away. We can help arrange any of these activities for you...and we even have golf clubs for you to use. Of course, you could always choose to do absolutely nothing (you are on holiday, right?). Sunset Valley is the ideal place to relax...peaceful, serene and cooled by the soft breezes of the Caribbean.
 

Perhaps the most memorable features of Sunset Valley are the huge veranda and patio areas. The covered veranda completely surrounds the house. There are plenty of chairs or hammocks from which you can enjoy the cool shade of the balcony and the indescribable views it offers. The pool patio enjoys a wonderful view of Tobago's main ridge and rain forest.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 double sofa beds located in the Greatroom. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, boat hire, fishing, historic sites, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find sailing, horse riding, golf, scuba diving.

Some of Tobago's best bird watching can be found in Sunset Valley's immediate area.

Various hikes/walks through the rain forest to waterfalls or old plantations are nearby.

I now have been to Sunset Valley five times for no less than three weeks at a time. It is a beautiful property to rent with all the mod-cons you would require and the setting is out of this world,but it is the family that own the property that make you want to return.

From the first enquiry about renting to Rande, to your arrival being met by Pops, at the airport then a meal waiting in the fridge , made by Moms, ready for weary travellers the holiday can not go wrong.It is a beautiful island and the people are so kind.

I would recommend this stunning property to anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful and beautiful setting, a place to recharge your batteries from busy lives, surrounded by magnificent scenery and wild life, but not wanting a night life.

It is my idea of Paridise and now my carribean home.
